Does casteism play any role in bb

So i think people give votes to all

But the real reason was the way Salman targetted Gauhar for Tanisha.

Only once in indian idol i saw a guy of Kashmir win bcoz of this....

One more thing i have noticed is .... contestants are never South indians except sreesath...

Yes in a country where the Khans rule BW...people will vote based on religion....Gauhar KHAN kaise jeeti fir??

Regional support do matters..

I am basically from South india and very few watch BB .

And sreesath is not liked by me though he is from myland.. Havent followed the BB 12 thoroughly so no idea about how he conducted in house.

Mostly north indians has edge esp some states.

Most of people think beyond religion hence Gauhar, Asim are supported.

Dont know whether existence of casteism and regionalism is true or not. But people do feel that way. With Sreesanth Kerala people openly said why they dont have expectations about his winning because he's from there and not a northie. Deepika who did nothing on the show being made winner made them feel justified. Her supporters only say how 'dignified' she was and deserved to win. Tab to Karan Mehra and Hiten Tejwani and so many others were even more dignified but none of them won.

I do think Islamophobia exists for sure. Just look at Twitter and search for some Sid hashtags, you'll find them. State-wise toh ek baar Vindu himself insinuated something like "Asim ke yaha kya kya hatiyar hoga mat jana uske ghar Sid." Lots of hate, but he kept it up even after getting an avalanche of replies drawing the line in case he did mean it innocently. Dolly Bindra ka abhi phone call leak hua hai super islamophobic conversation lol

But I don't think its totally deterring. It plays a role, but its not impossible to overcome.

Southindians are less as they find difficulty in speaking Hindi and BB is a Hindi show. Hindu vs Muslim is a big TRP and buzz so makers milk this chemistry...just like this season.

There is no concept of Islamophobia in the heart of India or Hindus. We are all together and no one hates or have phobia about Islam.

But yes, I do feel it exists because Islam have unity and do in the name of religion. Religion comes first most of the time. You can see someone getting bombed in Iran by USA but US Embassy in Chennai faces the wrath from communnity .

I dont think so. We all believe in the constitution.. we all are equals. Our background doesnt decide whom we like or not.

I am Bengali.... I hated Siddharth Dey.... Love Asim/Rashami. SO it doesnt matter.
