Cateist remarks by Sana

In yesterday's (22 november) episode, Sana said to Himanshi "Tod doongi tujhe, hai kya cheez? Khurana. Saaliye jatta naal pange...(some bit muted by Bigg Boss).".

(Saaliye jatta naal pange: Saali jatton ke saath pange). She was basically taunting her that she shouldn't take panga with her as Sana is a jatt and Himanshi is Khurana.

For those who don't know the reference, Shehnaz is a "jatt" and Himanshi is an "arora". I have seen a lot of this casteist nonsense both online and in person where "jatts" (only some ignorant ones) trying to portray some superiority over "aroras" (also called "bhapa" by some "jatts").

I thought this was really in bad taste by both Sana and Bigg Boss broadcasting it. Not only did they broadcast it but they didn't take any action on Sana while they claim and casteist, religious and other such conversations are not allowed in the house.

I always found Shehnaz entertaining in the show, but this has really changed my opinion on her. I have zero respect for casteist bigots.

Jatts are usually moohfatt and not afraid to get in brawl, whereas aroras are very soft-spoken and avoid getting in fights. When someone say I’m a jatt they just wanna show that they’re brave, at least thats the context my friends use it as. To a great extent its very true, so far all the aroras I have met are very image conscious and consider themselves very sophisticated/ dont wanna get their hands dirty. on other hand jatts have no bullshit attitude and since most of brave warriors and soldiers came from Jatt community... somehow ignorant jatt youngsters love to ride on their ancestors bravery.

I have no idea but if it's what you say, shouldn't have even been broadcasted.

But I think these kinds of pride of caste is always done in reality. Until someone degrades others caste directly, taking pride in own shouldn't be a prob. 😐

That way, when Himanshi was entering the house, Ayushman Khurana said he is supporting her as a Khurana and that too in front of all. What kind of statement is that I wonder now I never realised the depth of his discrimination and bias! And he’s been one of my all time fave actors of recent times. Chalo, chalo, please make a post on him too maybe for his tauba tauba... casteist comment! 😱

Lol I am a Himanshi supporter, but thats not casteist. What Sana said is a very common thing said in Punjab.

I don’t think any of the developed countries have caste systems. No discrimination is allowed in any form, that’s their motto and secret for progress and success.

The most funny thing is naa toh Sana is acting like a jaat( warrior) nor Himanshi like an arora (sophisticate). So what to edit in these two beizzat, bejaat awrat's bakwaz.

I was also shocked by this even though it is common to flaunt that you're a jatt in Punjab. Im born and raised in canada, family is jatt but i have always been told by my parents and grandparents that our gurus denounced the caste system and there is no difference between any person. the cast system was abolished for sikhs so to hear sana say this just shows me how uncultured she is. i hope himanshi sticks by her convictions in front of salman, dont want to see her apologize to shehnaz.
