When I was 16...

'TV was a different ball game altogether. We wouldn't be sitting in front of our TV sets for hours at end.

Back then, watching TV was all about music, movies and matches. I remember the year I turned 16 mostly because that was the year when Michael Jackson had performed live in Mumbai. I was lucky enough to watch it live. But many of his fans in Mumbai missed out on it. If that event happened today, it would have been covered in a much larger than life manner. For me it was also a special year, because I did my first fashion show at that time. And that was, in a way, a beginning of my journey into the telly world. I don't think anyone expected the kind of milestones television would be achieving today.'
