Chapter 29

Jaiwanta Bai was busy looking at the piece of parchment that had just arrived from Bijolia she was worried about her son's reaction to the news he was about to receive. Pratap entered her room and greeted her

Pratap: RaniMa you called for me?

JB: Kunwar Pratap I received an important message from Bijolia a few hours ago

Pratap: Bijolia? Is everything alright RaniMa?

Then all of a sudden Shakti, Vikram, Chakrapani, Som, Maan and Veeni come running to JB's chamber

Shakti blurts out: Is it true RaniMa? Did that Jagmal really do it?

Pratap stares at his brother and on hearing Jagmal's name he takes the piece of parchment from his mother's hand

The letter read

Greetings

Jaiwanta Baiji we wanted to inform you of an accident that took place this morning. Ajabde received a letter written in blood with a small parcel that carried rotten and disfigured human parts from the looks of it hands and eyes of a man that resembled Kunwar Pratap. The letter stated that Ajabde belonged only to Jagmal and no one else and if anyone tried to come between them then next time it would be Kunwar Pratap's body parts lying in front of her.

Ajabde has been unconscious ever since only calling out for Kunwar Pratap. We urge you to come here as soon as possible

Pratap folded the letter in his hands: Make preparations we leave for Bijolia

He walks out with his brothers and friends following behind him while JB stares at the retreating forms knowing fully well that Jagmal had just asked for his death.

Rawatji was very angry he had received the news of the incident that took place in Bijolia with Ajabde and now he wanted to teach Jagmal a lesson he would not forget so he took permission from Ranaji who agreed whole heartedly to his plan and added

JM: Rawatji? Teaching lesson?

Rawatji: yes Kunwar Jagmal after all you are the prince so you need to get special training to lead the kingdom

He grabs JM by the hand and pulls him off the couch.

Rawatji: Prepare yourself Kunwar Jagmal as today you will face Rawat Chundawat in a duel

JM swallows a lump noisily and backs off but is stopped by the wall. Rawatji looks at him and points to his sword as he takes his own out. JM takes his sword out but his ways were no match for the angry Chundawat who could only remember the contents of the letter he had received from Rao Mamrakh
