History is just that...His story...i.e., someone's version of events. The accuracy of those events often depends on how many people can corroborate the authenticity of those events having taken place.I am not well versed in Indian history...but considering this is a telly drama whose CVs themselves display a disclaimer before their episodes in which they openly admit that they are not attempting or claiming to portray events accurately...I watch the serial as I would any other fictional show.I enjoy watching period dramas...the last one I watched was Prithiviraj Chauhan...just like in that one, the children cast in this show did an exceptional job...and I miss Faisal, Roshni, etc sorely. And even though an expected leap has taken place...I am interested to see how Pratap and Ajabde come together...and so I continue to watch the show...not for the distorted history lesson...but for the unfinished love story.I think if one is interested in learning the accurate history of someone like Maharana Pratap...I'm sure there is historical and biographical literature on such a legendary figure, as well as museums, etc. I wouldn't rely on a largely fictional telly serial for anything more than entertainment...just my POV.- Fatima 😊
