So I guess nationally May 31st is considered Maharana Pratap's birthday! This doesnt happen- That a PM of India pays tribute to MP like this!!!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid rich tributes to the great ruler Maharana Pratap on his birth anniversary, today.

The PM paid reverence to the proud son of India' and stated that Maharana Pratap's life symbolised courage, patriotism and sacrifice of the greatest measure.

The official Twitter handle of the PMO tweeted:

well according to the web - its May 9th! lol so all that matters at the end of the day is the nation's leader remembered him! I think there are conflicts on his birthday- some say its 31st and others say its 9th! so we can celebrate on both days!
