I have repeated this many times that Akbar was not in love with Roop Kanwar at all. They are disgracing Maharana's wife. Marwar family would happily kill Roop if Jalal lusted her. Rajputs gave their daughters to Mughals without fighting because they knew that Mughals won't force them to convert or disgrace them for being infidel.
Akbar was not in love with anyone not even Jehangir's mother Hira Bai(or as they call Jodha) as film/serial shows. He was not Salim or Shah Jahan.
Yep they are disgracing Roop and Pratap by showing Akbar lusted after his wife
But otherwise Akbar was a womaniser in till his late thirties otherwise he would not need to marry so many women 300 approximate
But Jehangir cannot come under womaniser category although he loved wine more than any other mughal. But he was not womanizer or disloyal to his wives.
Shah Jahan became a womaniser after death of Mumtaz
Maharana Pratap i am not sure how many wives he had. I have not searched how many wives/kids of Pratap
The temple in Agra fort was actually built by Jehangir for his mother and wives not Akbar as wrongly quoted many times
This Rao Maldeo looks like complex character. Hope to see him introduced fast.
I often wondered when Salim came to know that Shakti Singh saved Pratap in battle field and killed Afghan soldiers why he kept quiet and forgave and told him to go off? May be all these complex family intracacises and relations had something to do with it.
Usually we have heard rather than unrealted enemies its relatives who fight more aggressively and voilently as proved by Akbar and Pratap and Sher Shah Suri and Mahmud Shah.
I wonder did all these sisters meet together and if what they would discuss?? Also after death of Sher Shah Suri his wife came back and stayed with her sister it says and after Mahmud Shah death his wife came back and stayed in Marwar parents house. Not sure if they had kids i doubt.
Another interesting fact Sher Shah Suri's son/grandson etc were employed in mughal court. How did Akbar and Jehangir allow? Was it because of these complex relations???
Quiet interesting aspects in history no one can actually know in reality only these people can answer but they are dead

Akbar was very much in love with Hira Kanwar. I will give you link full of real sources to justify my claims. His love was pure, he had to marry other women partly because of his pride of being emperor partly for political reasons. But his chief Sultana was Maryam uz Zamani who is Harka Bai/Hira Kanwar/Jodha Bai.

Not at all, showing everything wrong. Girls would not come in front of men without veil on.

That is fact that Akbar had no real love of his life
He was not lover boy like Salim or Shah Jahan
His marriage to Hira Bai aka Mariam uz zamani was a political one
Its well documented by many historians especially books in British Library and State Library none mention love story of Akbar-Hira Bai.
Hira Bai was first hindu wife so he allowed her permission to pray in hindu style inside her palace
He had christian, buddist wives too and he allowed them also to pray a per their religion
She was first hindu wife and hence he built a palace where not only her but his other rajputh hindu wives also stayed with her.
And since Hira gave birth to an heir he built her more palaces because Salim till he was 14 would stay with her in those palaces
Jehangir mentioned in his auto bio that Ruqaiah was his favourite wife apart from that no historian or chronicle mention he loved any wife
Building palaces and giving powers is not proof of love. Akbar gave permission to Salima and Mariam-uz-zamani to issue farmans as they were highly educated and astute in external dealings
But definelty Akbar did not love like Jehangir loved Nur Jahan or Shah Jahan loved Mumtaz because after they married these two never married again(in Shah jahan case till Mumtaz died) so they loved their wives to some extent atleast.
But Akbar married more than 300 times after marrying Hira Bai and had children from 5 different women that too maids and cocubinnes.
So all this very well proves that he was not in love with one person. That historians also agree. Just because he built palaces for Hira Bai it cannot be proved he loved her. He did that for his son and because she was his first non muslim wife.
The two temples built in agra fort
1) Jodh Bai temple built by Jehangir for his mom and wives and named after his wife Jagat Gosain aka Jodh Bai. Hence Jehangir built a temple inside fort for her and a mosque for his mother Hira Bai aka Mariam-uz-zamani who converted to Islam at marriage but maintained hindu customs inside confine of her palace. Jodha Bai is buried in MP as per hindu traditions while Hira Bai buried as per muslim traditions in Sikandara.
2) A Hindu temple, known as ' "Mandir Raj Ratna" or the Temple of the Royal Gem, is located towards the north-east of the Machhi Bhawan, beyond the enclosure. The temple is believed to have been built by the army commander of the Jats of Bharatpur who captured the fort in 1768 A.D.
in floklore and ancient stories there has never been love stories of Akbar compared to Salim or Shah Jahan too. the movie/story makes of Jodha Akbar have created a non existant story and many people believe it to be true especially TV viewer audience. It was a political wedding and would have remained so had Hira not given birth to Salim. That is my viewpoint as per all books i read of historians. None historians mentions Akbar as a lover or having loved any wife yes he had favourites. Like that Jehangir also liked Sahib Jamal and Jodha Bai but Nur Jahan he loved very much from childhood.
