What kind of relationship did Pratap and Shakti share as per historical records?

I read on a site that they were bitter rivals and once they fought a duel in a forest and their fight was so fierce that the person who tried to stop them was killed on the spot.

Did Pratap have a nice attitude towards Shakti or is it only the show which is showing Pratap tolerant and loving towards Shakti?

What was their equation like (before Shakti left to join Akbar)?

Another question - Who is Sagar Singh? Which queen's son was he? All accounts mention him also for joining Akbar but later, it's said he committed suicide out of guilt for his treachery.
He's often mentioned as brother of Shakti. Does it imply he was Sajjabai's son? Why has he not been shown in the serial yet? Or was Sagar Singh another name for little Vikram?

I seriously doubt about what has been shown in the yesterday(16/9/13)'s episode about Karnavati and Humayun. No where its written that HUmayun actually joined Bahadur Shah ont he eve of the second jauhar of Chittor. No doubt, the Mughal reinforcements came much later, as a result the Rajputs had to face defeat. But later on Bahadur Shah had to flee from CHittor as the Mughal army took charge. Its very surprising that the creatives have totally altered the plot in order to justify Uday Singh's grudge against the Mughals. Such distortion of historical fact is not at all expected from such a well researched project.
