The news that the actress shot for an ad commercial in her 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Pe Hain?' Angoori get up, created a furore amongst one and all. We were also shocked to read that piece of news and called up the actress to get her side of the story.
She said, "From which angle do I look like Angoori? You guys tell me. I have left the whole thing behind. I do not want to look behind. In fact, they even asked me to take the ulta pallu look, but I blatantly refused. As for me breaching the contract again, I have signed an exclusivity contract of the character of Angoori and notShilpa Shinde. Why should I not take up other work?"
We also asked her about her demands to return to Bhabhiji to which she replied, "It was just a statement. I did not make any demands. People were asking me constantly whether I will return to the show or not. So I simply said that I can't work with Benaifer and if she is replaced, I will come back. I also said that I can't shoot at Naigaon. If artists can be replaced, why can't producers?"
On not reporting to sets even after CINTAA's order to do so the actress said, "Who is CINTAA to tell me to shoot? I am the one having issues here. And waise bhii, CINTAA is one sided and everyone knows that. She is messaging me every day and abusing me. Jab tak replacement nai milta, we have to shoot and jaise hireplacement mill jaaye to hum jaaye bhaad mein? What is this? Mohit ko bhi replace kar diya achanak se. This type of behaviour is not right."
Shilpa continues, "Abhi tak legal kyun nai gaye wo log? Based on the Lawyer's notice, they asked me to report to work within 48 hours and say sorry. Why?"
We asked her about what her current plans were and she said, "I am planning to go out of station for some time. I want to take some rest and relax. My voice is not proper yet."
Take rest Shilpa. We hope all of your issues are sorted and we get to see you back on-screen soon.
