@manya Ayan is younger. I had always believed this young man to be the collateral damage of the mess. Maya herself says, Ayan is collateral damage. Arjun is the centre of every one universe. See if we take 3 women one way or the other they are responsible for what happened to them.

But who is responsible for what happened to Ayan. Yes there was Ayan's mistake, Maya's crime but who was the cause. His own brother who instigated him against his wife and when time came stood with his wife leaving his hand.

Ayan is the person who has tasted the bitter medicine in the hands of his brother. His life's blemish stems from reacting to his brother, calling his bhabi pagal and ending up a criminal of rape attempt.

When he comes back what does he see. Everyone celebrating Maya's godhbarai. Not a single voice to hear his anguish. What he felt in that jail. He commits the next set of mistake. Their also it is Arjun who takes the hand of his madness Saanjh and put his brother and unborn child at risk in the hands of Maya. But then again no one wants to point fingers at this man.

Ayan didnt trust his brother to deliver him justice and he took things in his hand. Because Ayan experienced Arjun. He also asked in season 1 brother do you love Maya. But then I feel he over looked what Arjun replied. Ayan knows Arjun somewhere, but unlike Prem and Samay he is young, inexperienced to a great extend and also his love for his brother binds his eyes.

Jen's acting is only saving grace in this show otherwise this show is a big mess. Male lead can't emote or act. Aneri emote so really well, but her dialogue delivery sucks, that annoying voice specially when she shouts.

First anday formost thing is 'fault in their casting'. Story like beyhad needs amazing acting, otherwise there's nothing to root.

Second thing- their focus has always been on Maya's character, this entire story is from criminal's point of view, and writers look like desperate to glorify her character. Despite committing murders, she's still an innocent victim is their agenda. In order to glorify one character, they've messed up every other characters, specially saanjh, it looks like that character was not at all written, it was like last minute entry.

Arjun is like male version of gopi bahu. I guess they wanted an eye candy as a male lead. There was no depth to begin with. Acting was not required criteria either.

@shruti yes I do agree with you regarding Ayaan being too young and naive. To add to it he lost his dad at a very young age, Arjun was always at his side calling him his 'jaan' so somewhere he might have found a father figure in that lousy indecisive man. So maybe he did understood him but could not completely reach out due to his blinding love.

Coming to Ayaan's so called rape attempt, you cant blame it all on Arjun or Maya but yes I simply dont understand why did Arjun instigated Ayaan against Maya with such passion and then simply turned away like he never said those things.

However one has to give it to Maya, I mean how did she managed to come to know that Ayaan would have exactly those actions.

Maya had limited interaction with Ayaan - the time when she bailed him out of jail, then marriage rituals and then exactly one month of marriage. We had seen Ayaan way more than her. And if somebody would have asked me whether Ayaan would tear a woman's clothes and garments to get keys, my answer would have been a big NOOO, but Maya effortlessly convinced Ayaan to take that action.

Well what can one say she is a genius at that, predicting people. But still, this prediction/manipulation was on another level, I dont know how to understand it but... sab maya hai

As for Arjun I simply dont understand iss bande ki problem kya hai, chahta kya hai?

Why did he bring Maya back from asylum when he wanted to stay with Saanjh.

Leaving Maya and her bandar like that and taking Sanjh's hand and after all this he goes drunk and says "jo maya ne kaha woh sab kiya"

Arjun are you sure tumne aisa hi kiya coz I remember a different story altogether.

@Iamtheboss thanks a lot for reading my post and appreciating it, really means a lot.

@Iheartfriendz you know you are right that it would have been better if the actors were more talented but honestly let us suppose that KT is replaced by some awesome actor what good would it do, they still have nothing on the plate as far as Arjun is concerned.

As far as Maya's character goes, it was certainly given more attention at first but gradually they left it all on Jenny, no character development, no plots for support and definitely not glorification. What we are perceiving as glorification is poor characterisation of other characters.

Arjun being gopu bahu would have been far better than what he is now.

He is someone that no one can understand yet everyone wants him to be happy.

Mr Indecisive is the on who has been glorified not by cvs but by all the characters in the show.

I dont know why cvs felt that there is no need for him to have his own characteristics but it surely acts as a loop hole in the series.

@manya yes agree what Ayan did was not right. He did assault Maya. But who started the events. Arjun. His instigation which finally resulted in Ayan getting convicted. And only Maya is blamed.

Again the death of bandar and Vandana Arjun took the hand of Saanjh which created another set of events which culminated in much more destruction. And again Maya is blamed.

What I am telling is Maya is effect, cause is Arjun and this cause is getting ignored in the melee. And he also doesnt own up anything and everyone tells he is duffer, innocent, emotional blah blah.

In season 1 Ayan calls Arjun to solve issues when VM throws kachara on Maya. But Arjun comes and messes it up and takes Maya. He tells if Maya comes there once again, their relation would end. Again Maya is blamed, even for Arjun's actions.

Even if he murders Maya, Saanjh will bail him out because Maya is pagal and Arjun innocent 😆😆 and Arjun killed a pagal.😆😆 so it is not a crime. I wont be surprised if Saanjh tells that 😆😆

I know you are asking many questions, which makes me go back to symbolisms once again. But if I am right some clarity should come by second or third week of July. 195 epi was my cut off where I expected Maya the metaphor to end and time the metaphor to take charge. So we are more or less there. Maybe another week.

I guess when season 2 started I had warned we are going to see a really irritating phase. Brace up or simply quit till jun-jul else u will go mad😆😆

Talking so much about Arjun has made me realise, this man does not believe in god and most definitely blames the god for everything and then blames everyone around him for the mess but himself.

But even after all this god somehow gives him all he wants.

1) He wanted to be rich and powerful, have a beautiful wife and life that too with minimum mehnat

Bhagwan ne haath mein Maya thama di

Now he is all like "kyun aayi Maya meri zindagi mein"

2) He wants chutkara from Maya

God sends Ayaan to help him and even Samay later comes to his rescue

We all know what Arjun did to these 2 gentlemen

3) In S1 Arjun so desperately wanted his bandar.

When maya conceives her bandar, arjun rushes to ganesha to lecture him how a child wont be able to bear maya

Yeh sab sunn kar toh ganesha bhi kailash se bol rahe honge "Arrey yaar Arjun Maya ke saath jo bhi kiya woh tumne kiya, ab woh pregnant ho gayi toh isme main kya kar sakta hoon, mera kya kasoor. ek toh tum dono ne mujhe ghar se nikalke sidha paani mein duba diya ab apni kartoot mujhpe laad rahe ho?"

4) After all this he stops loving Maya, reason? Samay. So he tells Maya he is in no mood to go through her pagalpan and will not tolerate her obsessive nature. He can leave anyone but Dusky.

So God helps him by taking bandar away as Arjun himself did not wanted bandar to be with Maya and also did not wanted anyone in his life other than dusky. So god cut the rope which Gwas binding them so that Arjun can stop suffocating.

But Arjun is not happy with this outcome. Apparently he wanted bandar and Maya and is firing god from his job.

God - "Ab kya problem ho gayi? Jo tumne maanga wahi diya, fir bhi meri complaint kar rahe ho aur mujhse hi kar rahe ho. Yeh hi toh chahiye tha na, no pagal maya and her bandar only dusky, toh fir ab jab de diya toh dusky ko chod ke garage mein kya kar rahe ho?"

5) Now this one was fastest of all. Arjun asks VM aap kyun nahi mar gaye, wishing death upon her.

Well beloved wife to the rescue. Yeh waali wish bhagwan ne lightning speed se puri ki par ab usme bhi problem hai. Main mazaak kar raha tha

God - "Agar tum mazaak kar rahe the toh yeh pehle clear karna tha na. Duffer kahin ka!!!!"

Shruti I think you are absolutely right as I am already going mad.

But you know what, Arjun makes me so confused that sometimes I feel he is doing all this on purpose.

For some reason he is always the one jissne chingaari jalaayi hoti hain aur ek baar aag lag jaaye toh baith ke tamasha dekhta hai.

Also how come he not receive Saanjh's email and why does he always refrain from involving police when matters come to Maya?

I mean his non working brain started to work most efficiently when it came to killing Samay.

Is he that duffer or is he the player?

I think he is not duffer, he is the biggest idiot we have ever witnessed

He believes in police action only when there is no case! Like in the hospital scene, when he drove them away with a bizarre request to arrest everyone including himself! Also Ayaan's rape attempt case, he was so aggressive in police station without even knowing who the real victim was!
