Finally S2 which started with a bang but turned out to be a dragfest, ended and a new phase starts. The highlight about the Season was to show Maya's reality to the viewers. Congrats to those who had predicted her character accurately in S1 itself. 😃
Towards the end of S2 we were introduced to a new perceptive, the difference between Maya and Samay's obsession. While both are unhealthy and fatal, Samay's love is a form of lust and nothing else than that, whereas Maya's love is love, but it knows no limits. According to her and Arjun, whatever crimes she committed are just to have Arjun for herself. Thus for keeping Arjun with herself, if she can change for worse, she can change for better as well.Spending 6 months in Wellness Mental Health Care, to save Arjun and her baby from her own "madness" or "darkness" , Maya seems to have taken a huge and a convincing step for her redemption.Vandana who mostly has made the right predictions about her, seems to be convinced that Maya has changed! Arjun feels now their past won't come back haunting them. While all are willing to forgive Maya and move on, we are introduced to Ayan who wants to unmask Maya's most gruesome crime, to trap him in false attempt to rape case. Jhanvi also seems dicy abt Maya's redemption. Now from here we can have the story of Season 3 carried forward in 3 ways.First is, Maya is really putting efforts to change and whatever illness she had, has been cured in the mental hospital. But Ayan n Saanjh who have faced the max loss due to Maya try to bring out her past crimes n unmask her. Finally this leads to Maya's punishment. When she is actually a changed woman, her past karma bites her back. Arjun's role in this case will be interesting to see, whether he understands Maya or he too leaves her.Second is- Maya really wishes to change for her child and husband's love. But her past crimes don't allow her to change. To stay with Arjun and her baby, she again starts playing games. This will put the show back to square 1 and Maya's dark journey will resume.Third is, whatever we saw now was again an illusion set up by Maya herself. She hasn't changed, but faked her redemption to gain Arjun's trust on her. This time she has Vandana on her side as well. She isn't beemar but buri. And she crosses many more limits.Maya seems to have changed in my opinion. ❤️But how long she continues to be good has to be seen.I liked Saanjh's dressing as well. Far better than previous seasons. She looked very pretty. 😳Arjun finally seems to be managing all his relationships in the right manner. 😆Btw what mental illness did Maya have? She can't be psychopath if she's believed to be cured. So is it that makers are trying to project her as a depression patient, yet commit such huge crimes?!

hey nice post..@green...i will prefer this way, but i do not think cvs will show story this way and i think for now Maya has changed but her past crimes and something new (regarding Arjun and her baby) will make her to resume her Beyhadh nature so may be she cross another line.@red...it can also be a possibility if cvs wants to show that Maya can go to any extent to outsmart people surrounding her and to keep her love (Arjun) with her.@bold...same here, now it is something to watch that for how much time she can hold herself from doing something bad.

Any thing is possible in this show. But watching how they played out the start of S3,option 1 seems unlikely. If maya is truly a changed person, the first thing she would have done is regret the wrongs she has done and come clean with Arjun. if she is truly changed she wouldn't have to worry about Ayan or Sanjh bringing her past crimes out. In fact, she herself would have come clean with Arjun by telling him everything bad she has done in the past to keep Arjun in her life. To me that is coming clean, right now it looks like another stunt to get Arjun back because she felt he was about to leave her for good this time.
I think option 2 and 3 are more likely. I would prefer option 3 but I think CV's will take option 2 route.

@aditi love or prem will win 😆. I am not telling anything else now. See we have 3 men.ashwin creator of Maya the psycho.Maya I think is victim of ashwin. I hope Cvs don't whitewash him. Rajiv made Maya his victim and became her victim too. Ayan is Maya victim. Ashwin and rajiv Maya killed. I don't have much sympathy for both of them. Ayan is her victim and the man against whom Maya will have to fight and balance is not tilted in her favour as far as this man goes. So the arc of phase 3 depends a lot on the tugfest between these 2 characters.

I am yet to catch up on the Monday's episode but scenario 1 hardly makes sense. If Maya is indeed a changed woman, what will be the storyline of the entire season 3? In that case, another negative character will have to be introduced which will be sort of like alienating from the main theme of the show i.e. the obsessive and limitless love of Maya.
Her past crimes should be brought in light and she should be ready to bear the consequences of the heinous acts she committed one after another! I am sorry but 6 months of therapy doesn't exonerate her.
