Samay & Ayaan, in an absolute sense (without making any relative comparison with Maya's Evil acts!) are/were guilty of attacking a married woman!

The wife & her husband have/had the right to punish them both! And they did that precisely! The only mistake they did was giving a wrong kind of punishment to a wrong person!

What Arjun did with Samay actually ( just before the flying kiss incident), he should have done that to his brother! Ayaan deserved a thorough thrashing from Arjun for what he did to his sister-in-law & that is where it should have ended, really!

In stead, Arjun went with his wife's plan of sending his brother to Jail! That was not at all justifiable! He & his wife should have sent Samay to jail, for the actual offence he was trying to commit! Are they planning to do now, one has to wait and see?

The cunning wife and her blind husband are guilty of juxtaposing punishments to the respective offenders!

We don't know if they too will face the justice for their commissions & omissions, some day!

Ayaan's intention was not to physically force himself on Maya / attempt rape on Maya...His main intention was to get the keys and thus he was involved in a tussle.

He did not deliberately tore Maya's sleeves but his biggest mistake was that he did not let go the moment Maya's sleeves tore...He should have let go at that very moment but he chased her and involved in an unnecessary tussle and in a fit of rage threatened Maya with filthy words.

We also have to keep in mind that Maya had locked Arjun and was continuously instigating Ayaan by saying 'Accha hua tumhare bhai ne tumhe chodh dia' and stuff like that...Ayaan's mistake was to get involved in that tussle and getting instigated by Maya.

But what Maya did to him was heinous to say the least.

Samay is a pathetic man to say the least and he deserves punishment for his crimes.

Ayaan's and Samay's intentions and their situations are totally different...Ayaan's intention was not to physically abuse Maya and he was the one who got trapped in Maya's plan while Samay's intention is to get in a physical relation with Maya and this time around Maya is trapped in his game.

Samay and Maya are both criminals and deserve punishment.

although it is tough to sympathies with what Maya has become now still it is punishable by law and wrong in everyone sense trying to forcibly getting physical with someone.

Also Arjun and Maya and no one else for that matter has the right to give or decide someone's punishment...Court is there for that.

Okay Maya faked that rape charge against Ayaan who was not 100% innocent because he threatened her verbally.

And legal punishment is the answer not rape or sexual harassment.

Ayan was 100% innocent as far as anything connected to 'rape' is concerned. He is guilty of idiotic actions and physical assault, but NOT anything remotely sexual.

To me, there's really no difference between Samay and Maya. I see people lining up to defend Maya as a hapless victim and berate Samay as the Epitome of Evil; when in reality, Samay is a bit better than Maya because he does not try to cover up his depravity by mouthing sob-stories.

Samay is a potential rapist and so cannot be better than anybody.

Agreed that Ayaan did not do anything sexual but his verbal uttering which Arjun heard helped Maya in framing her charge.

Rape or sexual assault can just not be justified! Maya may have done hundreds of crimes but wishing something so horrific on her is disturbing. She should definitely be punished for her deeds but only through lawful means. Let her rot in jail for years repenting her sins but a tit for tat theory will not yield anything positive ever.

And for those saying that Ayan was not innocent, I disagree there. The lines which Ayan uttered on that fateful day were definitely gross but look at the bigger picture here. His brother was drugged up and tied by Maya. He had heard stories from his brother how Maya used to emotionally blackmail Arjun with suicide threats to keep him caged. How do you expect him to behave? Talk politely with her? A well built man like Arjun was tied up by a petite woman like Maya. Did Ayan really stand a chance against her. And we have been shown time and again that his intentions were not sexual. In that moment, he did not think that Maya was a woman and he was a man. He was thinking that this person has abducted my brother and I have to save my brother by getting the keys hook or crook.

He did physically assault Maya but then our society is such that a man hitting another man, or a woman hitting another woman, or a woman hitting a man is considered normal. But the minute a man raises a hand on a woman, all hell breaks loose! Why wasn't there such outrage when Arjun beat Ashwin in season 1? Even Arjun should have been jailed for physical assault.

I strictly condemn these forced fetishes. Nobody I repeat nobody deserves this.

But if you ask, do I have my sympathies for Maya? No, a big no, that would be. Why? Wait till the end of this phase. You'll know why.

I know Maya is booking Samay a ticket to jail. I wouldn't care either if he rots in jail for the rest of his life.

In all this madness, only sympathies I've got are for my eyes. That I have to watch a criminal tormenting another sexually, hoping that justice will prevail.

In no way, I am comparing any criminal to another. I am hoping that everybody pay their dues. That's it.

Those verbal mutterings were only meant to confuse the audience. Just like Samay's 'Maya will pay for her crimes' monologue.

Also
Maya was the one who took Samay's help.

It is shocking that she would let a man who exploited her 8 years back to touch herself and give her those marks just to prove Ayaan guilty, to give flying kisses to him , to plant him in Saanjh's life and to trust him even after knowing how pathetic he is.

This shows that Maya and her ways are twisted.

Samay trying to get physical with her is wrong and is a punishable act...To sympathize or not to sympathize with Maya is up to one's self...To each his own but if one wants Samay to physically force himself on her then that in my opinion is harsh.

I agree it is very tough to sympathize with her as she herself is a criminal and is to an extent responsible for her current predicament since she was the one who tried to use and manipulate Samay.

One can say that Maya got trapped in her own game and got the taste of her own medicine

But yes Samay trying to get physical with her without her consent is wrong.

If Maya's monologues are held accountable then her murder account would be: AB TAK CHAPPAN.

Ayaan's attack was verbal but disgusting! It deserved a punishment from his brother like in any family the elders step in! Arjun thrashing Ayaan is not to be seen like some one taking law into his hands & delivering justice!
This could have been settled within family without converting into a legal fight! That was my limited point on Ayaan's case!
Well, about Samay & Maya - I am not saying much about them because the views are well known!
