I believe jahnvi isn't a great mother. But I don't believe she never protected her. Yes anyone can differ with me. :)

Exactly. From what's been shown so far Jhanvi and Ashwin have been far from ideal parents, but I wouldn't paint Jhanvi that negative. She tried her best to keep her family together (when the ideal option would've been to separate), and like Penfolk's said, I too remember that scene when Jhanvi was there to get a small Maya out of the dark.

I reckon Ashwin thought Maya showed some psychopathic (or whatever word you'd like to insert) tendencies, and therefore tried to squash it out of her, hoping that fear would do the trick and the relationship between the two got worse when Maya crippled Ashwin on seeing him with a third party.

We've never heard Ashwin or Jhanvi's side of the story and given what all Maya's done so far, it would perhaps be better if we heard their side.

See Priyanka, we have forever known that jahnvi fell weak to aswin and yes that's wrong because he's a criminal. We know jahnvi is a weak human. But the same jahnvi payed aswin just to keep her away from maya. Yes her path might be an easier one because she's weak but she did protect her daughter.

The problem is Jhanvi is a weak woman...she couldn't protect herself from Ashwin let alone Maya.

I clearly remember jahnvi letting little maya her hand to bring her out of some dark chambers, when she remembered things likewise in the lift. I clearly remember her saying, " abb main aa gayi hoon na? Aa jaao. " I clearly remember ashwin asking her not to tell anyone anything. If jahnvi was around, who the hell was he stopping to be told things to? He clearly tortured her when she was not at home. You want us to believe that jahnvi allowed ashwin to beat her and crap did just nothing? REALLY?

Maya and her theories. Where in world is it written that a mother has every right to KILL? I just want to use every slang in world for this woman and her historic theories. The worst part of beyhadh is the huge amount of tears she sheds, ulta chor kotwal ko daante.
