One thing I noticed in today's episode was that the inspector mention about Maya's postmortem.Also when her body was shown the stitches were also clearly visible.So that is definitely a dead body and cannot come alive.Is the DNA samples or any other identification checked during postmortem?If yes then how could maya fake that..

Shruti I have a theory hear me out . What if the 9 the birthday big reveal is that Janvi had two kids ? Evil Maya and good Maya ? The evil one was always jealous of the good one and did not want to share her mother . So she carries out a plan when she turns 9 which harms the good one , a plan so evil that it will get her jail not a remand home. Evil Maya keeps the good one in panchgani after she grows up,she might be in a comatose state. She has told her neighbour about her sister as the only responsibility she has and to go to panchgani and care for her .

The neighbour does that and helps her recuperate. This may be the bald look Maya. Maya must have always planned her death using the good twin. She kept her alive just for this purpose a safety net when every other door is closed. Easy way to fake a death and start afresh. Not even Janvi can catch her in this plan. Seems far-fetched ?

A good story! But leaves a few questions too!
Ashwin should know the existence of twin too! Then why didn't he talk about it anytime, including his revelations to Vandana?
A 9 year old is too young to get punished, alright, but not too old enough to send her twin to Panchgani & raise her without anyone knowing it or even helping her!
If only adult Maya took care of her twin, what happened between the period of a 9-year assaulting her twin to ,say,18- year-old Evil Maya taking control back on her sister? Who took care in the intervening period?

The police man this time is good. He's not creepy like the previous one. Here he's talking with the evidence he have. He did not accuse Arjun just for fun. He accused Arjun based on ample evidence and witnesses. He tolerated Saanjh's nonsense as a lawyer. He only acted against her when she tried to destroy evidence. And what kind of lawyer is Saanjh anyways. I'm 100% sure her law degree is fake. Saanjh is too much arrogant even now and that's the reason she can't even prove a single thing against Maya. She's too much proud of herself and thinks that she can accuse anyone without any evidence like she did in the court and everyone will believe her because she's 'sachai ki murat'. But Saanjh madam the real world is not like your parents who believes your every story and never say that you are wrong. The real world, especially the justice system wants evidence which you seem to be lacking in every case.

@hugsandkisses ur story is like Malayalam movie geetanjali.But as fernandes said 9 years is too young a age to plan something like this. Also whatever happened 9 year happened to this Maya. As there was episode of jhanvi asking Maya to forget it. I have some other theory running. But let us see. @jane saanjh is like vm who told society told this and I didn't care for society. See what society tell may not be complete truth. It may not be complete lie.if arjun and saanj are friends they need to behave like that so that people also feel they are friends. It is a very inappropriate friendship. Arjun drink and create mess is truth. Why blame Maya.and where was Maya today when saanj burned diary. Did Maya came from air gave diary in dusky hand but she torched it.dusky tried to burn it.own it up dusky and duffer. Time of perception or Maya over.

Is maya dead or alive 😆 or she is playing walking the dead 😆

Ashwin and Janvi must have kept her in a place away from Maya so that she can stay safe . The plan to harm her sister must not have been pre-planned but on the spur of the moment .

This is one such thread I always read, sometimes I agree, sometimes I don't, but it's really interesting to see different view points! So thnx TM!!! So today I want to jot a few points, pls keep in mind I'm no fan of any of these actors, I look at logic/ stortyline only

Coming to the show: I think the show is all about illusions, perception that Maya has created. From season 1 it's just that, she is a master level manipulator, who will go to any lengths to prove her point and get what she wants. Case in point Arjun. Her heart or her mind wanted Arjun, so created illusions of this woman that Arjun could love or would think he was in love. We all saw how that happened. But was her love, in true definition of the word, love? No. Just look at her 6 promises she asks of arjun before their marriage. Then see how Saanjh explains the meanings of love and Arjuns and Maya's reactions. Maya, to me was never a character that was to be sympathized with or justify her actions, because that was never the narrators intent. It was a character who was to be marvelled at and wonder, how DO you outwit a character who thinks of everything? She clearly has no inhibitions and lays it all on the table, yet no one can seem to match her smarts. A lot of it half baking writing but it's still something our characters can't manage to do. On her wedding day, Look at the way she answered Arjun's Q "you won't go anywhere this time?" She says 'no, I got rid of all my fears, I'm not going anywhere'. that's Maya!!
Arjun, a man who was filled with burning ambition and had a happy go lucky attitude. His weakness was his friendship with Saanjh because she has seen him through the best and worst of his life. I know many people thought Saanjh was clingy or that Arjun was too attached to her, but from the story's Pov, how else can two ppl be who have seen it all together? A-S have been neighbours from the beginning, so I'm assuming they are also childhood friends, and S was with him through his birth moms death, his fathers death and helped him through his turbulent relationship with Vandana. Prem was father figure to Arjun, and if a chapter called Maya didn't exist then eventually A-S would get together. Then coming to the direct 180 of Maya is Saanjh. She is someone who stands on the opposite side of Maya. As Maya takes, Saanjh has been giving, first her friendship with Arjun, then she stamped her love down to bring A to the marriage, tie the 'gadh bandhan', then she lost her friend Ayan to the falsified rape case. It doesn't stop there, she endures fake love from Samay, that results in losing her father, and Vandana Aunty. So far, without being the target of Maya, she has given up the most. It's funny that Maya wears white and casts her Mayajaal whereas Saanjh means evening, twilight. A lot of it is bad writing that Saanjh the character has faltered, but truly, to this episode Saanjh is the last person standing. And every one of Maya's threats have included Saanjh, cuz I think Saanjh is truly what Maya is insecure of;m. The one person who can take away arjun, the one person who has so much power over another person, and somewhere I think Maya knows, Saanjhs love for Arjun comes from a very different place than hers.

Phew! Cominh to the episode, I don't think Maya is dead. Why perceptions, the illusions she creates. Personally I think this is her way of punishing Arjun for she thinks he will leave her post the baby. Someone who has spent this much time planning Arjun's downfall would also think of how to survive this. I don't care to waste my energy on how and why, suffice that she is very much alive. Now this is where I think it's important to loose before you win. Saanjh will not win by acting like Maya. Saanjh will win by being true to herself and Arjun has to walk this tough path filled with deaths to finally cross over and win back his life. Saanjh has to make mistakes (also bad writing) before she can win the case. Saanjh was dumb for trying to burn evidence, but was it explained why police was there at the exact same time? Also, we see the stage being set, Maya's tragically painted martial life, but nobody to question loopholes, ex: what about the doctor arjun/Maya went to see? Or what about hospital logs that could show who visited when? Or the peon who found Arjun's photo made out of pills? Or reciePts of CCTV footage? none of this has been explored yet. Or looked at how maya fell-she fell backwards, hit the nape of her head, then banged back. Arjun too fell and lost consciousness. Now if someone wanted to intentially kills, then they would hold the face and bang directly on the surface of the table, the resulting body position would be different too. Also, did they check the bruise on Arjun's head? Ran his blood and test? These are questions that need answers too.
The closest comparison I can think of is Harry Potter. He lost his parents, his uncles and his friends brother, but voldemort never feared him because harry was similar to him, rather the opposite. Similarly, in the end it'll be M vs S, Maya, who wears white casts her illusions during "day" and Saanjh, evening/ twilight, that controversial phase, who absorbs it all, and shows you truth before night takes it all in.
