@manya yes that 7th vow was a bit twisted. It showed both constructive and destructive love. Now it is phassi ka phanda, but it has to become garland once again in true sense. Only time can make it happen.

Maya once told Arjun- on the eve of Saanjh's Sagai when Arjun suddenly entered while she was trying to motivate Samay to stay in the plan etc! Then Samay went & hid himself evan as the smart wife started her double meaning dialogue to duffer husband- one such dialogue was that 'Samay (meaning both the person & metaphor time) would bring them together again in life' or something similar to that in meaning!
But Arjun's complaint to Maya was exactly the same doing opposite! Meaning, Samay came in between them only to separate the husband & wife!
Now, we don't know if Samay the person or the metaphor time would come again to unite them! Really, will it happen, that way?

Yes Shruti, the 7th vow is twisted.

But I am still unable to understand this Maya's death drama.

When Maya bowed down in front of goddess she says "Mere bandar ka khayal rakhana "
Then with a pause she says " jab tak main nahi aati "
But bandar is dead.

So what is going on??
Maya is not going to stage her death?? But that's not possible, she has to coz the show is about Maya and her beyhadh pyaar. So she can not die.
Then if she is not going to die toh bandar ke paas kaise pohchegi??

Or does that mean bandar is alive? But if that's the case why did she said to VM "Mujhe maa nahi banne diya " or "mere bandar ke paas pohcha doongi "

This whole thing is even more confusing than Arjun's character.

Maya is capable of telling lies & falsehood to God!
She did it with Ganesha,already, so her monologues with Maa Lakshmi should be taken with a pinch of salt!
Having said that,'Mere bandar ka khayal rakhana . . .' pause . . . 'jab tak main nahi aati' can also be interpreted as
"Yes! please take care of my bandar till such time I come & join him, but I may not do that now!" as she is still having some unfinished agenda in this world! She is anticipating Arjun's moves & ready to counter him! But, she is also aware that eventually oneday she may have to pay with life for whatever she did! She is considering herself dead & taking some major risks as she is no longer afraid of anything including death!
Maya is certainly one move ahead of Arjun!

@manya Maya lights the lamp and tells you have left my hand, but dont leave the hand of Arjun. Then comes the next dialogue take care of my bandar till I come back. Question is where is bandar. For me Maya's bandar is alive. It has to be. If I am right when she tells that dialogue she bows to earth asking take care of bandar. Why earth or darthi for bandar. Why asking Maa bhudevi to take care of bandar. It is Maa Lakshmi for Arjun, but Maa Bhudevi for Bandar. Lakshmi gives wealth, bhudevi sustains life. We have to look out for bandar who is motherless at this point. 😃

Now again if we go back to season 1 her talk with Ganesha after the faked miscarriage. Why did you give happiness if you have to take it. It was not why did you give us bandar if you have to take it. And when she tells that dialogue the memory is from today it is new Maya, maya arjun sharma. Maya Arjun sharma died that day on holi completely when she manipulated the situation and she became what she was. Because she tried to love, but the world still called her bad and mad.

It is Arjun who says he is severing all his ties with God, not Maya. Even before Arjun had not believed in God much. He says that in Mauritius and for Maya's sake he prays in front of Ganesha.

A man calls God stone because he didnt hear him, he took a lot from him. He has to be shown that supreme power is not stone, it exists. Even if he leaves that powers hand, that power will still hold his hand.

And Maya hears that voice over and above the voice of her Ganesha which she had revered till then. If Arjun doesnt want him in her house, she wont have it.

@Fernandes and @Shruti both your theories make sense to me but both theories at the same time make me feel doubtful as it is.

I agree with fernandes that Maya said main aa rahi hoon did not said ki kab aa rahi hoon so that could mean anytime. But when she lied to Ganesha she did it so Arjun could hear it. When her plan works she drowns Ganesha yet remembers to whisper a 'thank you' as her plan worked. But I still agree with you she never said bas abhi hi aa rahi hoon, she may mean that she is prepaed for her death which can be anhytime.

Here I am unable to understand her plan. I can see that maybe she is up for revenge then why pray for Arjun. But since she has a demented mind, I will let that pass, what I dont understand is why stage her murder? She has so many ways which her genius brain must have already devised then why this plan which clearly will give her a disadvantage, she has to stay away from her beloved Arjun, she definitely has to make sure that everyone that knows her or has ever seen her does not recognise her or else the plan will fail and considering she is Maya Mehrotra, she always had her face in newspapers for some reason or other. Then why this plan which has such risks??

And I also agree with Shruti. If bandar is alive then Maya's plan makes complete sense. She would stage her death so that she can go to her bandar without anyone knowing about her bandar. That would definitely explain why this plan, even when this plan has so many disadvantages and risks.

But what it does not explains is her words "Mujhe maa nahi banne diya"

She keeps saying that which points towards how she lost her bandar.

Also if bandar was there why would she not tell it to Arjun, that would make no sense, coz their relationship fell apart as there was no bandar right?

Or does she have something else in her mind.

Did she get obsessed with bandar rather than Arjun and now does not want to share him with anyone else? Or maybe she was testing Arjun and when he did decided that VM would not go to jail for harming bandar she thought it is best to have her child only with herself alone?

But as I said, while this theory explains me the half part I dont know what about the other part. (Same as the first theory)

And the third theory which says Maya is ready to die or she is going to die is most definitely false. With such bad writing and plot, the whole show is based on Jenny's excellent portrayal of Maya the mad and bad, so no way that could happen.

Then again back to square one. Something is strange and I can't exactly put my finger on it but there was some strange feeling regarding Maya's goodbye to Jhanvi.

Did Maya murdered VM with the intention of fuelling Arjun to come and murder her? What exactly is she thinking coz she is definitely gonna make a fool out of her duffer husband by faking her death. But why?

Duffer and Dusky, may you live happily ever after. And let Dusky never let Duffer leave. She can do whatever she want, she just must keep him near despite anyone and anything. I can't look at this so-called friendship anymore. Even here, near to VM, in this situation and again the same super-extra-special friendship

Maya must meet Ganesha, right?

And her is waiting for a big surprise. Although the surprise for her will be later, much later

@Laska Maya did said that I am done but this is Maya we are talking about.

If giving up was in her nature she would have given up on her 9th birthday, but she stabbed Ashwin

She would have given up on her life when locked in that basement, tortured, drowned and what not

She would have given up when Ashwin and Rajeev were both exploiting her but she managed to take charge of fnc

She would have given up on the thought of Arjun so many times when Ashwin, VM and then Arjun himself showed her love as insanity to her not to mention Duffer's Dusky

She would have given up when Samay kidnapped her

But she didnt

Maya cant give up, no matter if the result is good or bad

It is not by choice, it is a quality that is innate, she possibly had a little in her by nature and the life taught her for survival it is necessary, so now it is kind of a muscle memory.

So I dont think that Maya is ever going to give up.

But what is she planning to do is something I am unable to grasp.

@Laska Maya has to stand in front of Ganesha, pushing Dusky to Duffer for Dusky to see Maya's tears when Duffer says she is the arrogant daughter of some bade baap.

Yes Maya says she is done. She decided she wont get happiness. She searched happiness, but then she didnt realize happiness doesnt come from external source, no Arjun couldnt give her security, happiness, happiness is internal. If you search that in external you will be pushed more to dark room.

There was no point marrying a man whose mother took him from the mandap. There was no need marrying a man who get up from mandap and hug his friend. That family could never give you happiness because that family never respected you in first place.

Why did u marry Maya duffer, if you cannot keep your hands off your super special friend. Why spoil her life and ur life

@manya in everyone's life a time will come where they just give up. i feel Maya is at that influx point. Walking towards the pyre. Because she has fought a hard battle for survival. But the darkness didnt leave her, she is still in that dark room. This time it is not Maya's plan, time is taking charge, Samay has to take charge.

Remember " Maya tumhara samay khatam hone se pehle tumhara samay aa gaya" and yellow flowers that Maya take and take the sweets to Arjun.

I had put at that point also. Samay tells test is done for Saanjh and he goes to test Maya. Test of time, Saanjh chooses Arjun, Maya chooses Arjun. I had told then also as far as Arjun goes Maya is more right than Saanjh. If Saanjh has to win she has to choose Ayan.

So far Maya was in charge, now time has to be in charge. Remember Samay taking the air out of Arjun car's tyres. It is needed wind taken out of that high flying Arjun Sharma.

Maya ka khel khatam, Samay ka khel shooro is my take. And at this point it is mostly from metaphor perspective.
