I don't know what mental disorder the CVs intend to show but possibility of psychopathy does seem high.

Wow this is bloody brilliant. Well done Husna, and thank you Khushi for posting this!
Husna, you've clearly put a lot of work in this and honestly, it's a brilliant piece of writing. Especially for a viewer like me who started watching the show mid-day and recently. You've essentially summed up Maya's behaviour and psyche categorically in the context of psychopathy. Anyways as someone who finds Maya's character fascinating, this was very interesting to read so thank you for putting in the effort to produce this writing.P.S. Not even joking bro, I picture you as someone who gets A+ in all your uni/college/HS assignments and essays 😆

This post is GOLD😳Jus bang on points there both of u👏Husna - I always love ur posts such clear cut analysis..kudos to ur hardwork..so many references And can't agree more..after reading all the references u have made its quite clear that Maya shows tendencies of psychopath...but as few mentioned above we won't be able to see this in the show as most probably they wil go the easier way only...Khushi - thanks for posting 🤗I SO LOVE READING BOTH OF YOUR POSTS☺️Keep them coming 😳P.S - coming to this forum after a long tym 😆

My evaluation based on the traits hadh se zyada posted on her thread is most except for three she scores high. We can only analyze based on what we have seen. Dunno what the end result in the show is. But as of now I think she has shown characteristics of a Psychopath, a dangerous one.
Good effort Husna and Hadsezyadha and really interesting discussions,

Husna had posted this originally in the cc where we discuss the show...then in your thread...hence since I found it perfect to the T, I thought it deserved a separate post on BF as it would get lost in the middle of another thread, n all would not get to read it...Also, don't you think it's better to post your counter arguments here, instead of posting the link to your thread here & diverting readers from this thread to that! 😊

I seriously don't understand what Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer, Albert Fish being hard core psychopaths have to do with interpretation of Maya being a psychopath or not...
Does it mean that anybody less gory than these 3 CANNOT be termed a PSYCHOPATH??
I hadn't had the slightest idea I could offend you that much by merely expressing my annoyance at the choice of words by the TM.
Look I don't really know why you get so defensive to whatever I say.
you seem to overlook a lot of things I say.
To analyse something, we need to be unbiased. Like Husna's and mine discussion. We put forth the evidences and the views we had regarding it.

I understand where you're coming from. Having read about your personal experience,I understand that this subject/area/field means a lot to you both as a potential professional and personally. I respect that completely.
I'm extremely happy that you do. Thank you.
Having said that, I'd request you to please not be so quick in judging my line of thought.
It wasn't my intention to do so. My sincere apologies.
The whole foundation of discussion is based on fictional world and fictional characters. Fiction alters reality and its subjects to suit its own purpose.
I've acknowledgment this in the post in question.
Although, it's important to remember that fiction's depiction or representation of mental health conditions, personality disorders and issues aren't always cent percent accurate.
^^ I made sure the part above was said out loud so as to clear any confusion and avoid any misinterpretation into my words.
Extremely gratified by this action of yours. Means a lot. Thank you.
I'm solely discussing fictional characters here and not real life cases. If I start comparing real life cases to fictional cases, there'd be quite a few cases in the fictional world who'd classify as a psychopaths. I'm not nailing either of Maya or Amy (haven't read the book, so can't bring book references in here) as a psychopaths because I think they're. I'm only explaining why I think they could be classified as belonging to the said category.
Thanks for clarifying. And sorry for the assumptuous front I put up.
Do read the book, I insist you to. Better than 80% of the thrillers out there.
As for the casual usage of terms, I don't mean it as an 'insult'. If someone perceives it that way, that's not my fault. Thanks for the suggestion though. Shall surely read up on real life cases sometime.
Oh trust me you'd be shock awe and in a rollercoaster of emotions while looking up afew of the case studies..
Since some people were pissed that I used a real life case study, I'd be putting up some fictional examples soon too.
Replies in blue.

@HadhSeJyada - I noticed your display picture and I know what that display picture/tattoo means. I don't mean to intrude your private space but if my intuition isn't incorrect, you seem to have your share of struggles as well. If it makes you feel any better, I deeply care about mental health issues and you'd never find me making a mockery out of them. I'd request you to please not take any of the discussions on any portals too seriously and hold it close to your heart. What you believe in is what matters the most. We need people like you in this world. Take care of yourself, buddy!
Thank you so much for your concern. I'm at a much much much better place right now.
I'm really overwhelmed by gratitude. We need more people like you.
What makes me even more happier is that you exist and you'd never let people around you suffer.
Might sound a bit overboard, but thanks for existing.

I read Husna's latest post to you here, & your subsequent reply to her. Without meaning to pry on your privacy, I wish you loads of love, peace & luck henceforth in life.& It's not about being defensive about what you're saying..I honestly see no point in comparing Maya with real life gory psychopaths...or other fictional psychopaths...1)our CVS do not deserve such a credible comparison, imo...2) the PCL is NOT a comparative test at all3) like all other illnesses, mental or otherwise, psychopathy too cannot exist in a copybook style...hence comparisons will serve little or no purpose...
