I hated Vandana anyway because she always wanted Saanjh to be her daughter in law, and she is so orthodox and unkind like those MIL you see on saas bahu serials..

Maya was not that bad before wedding but Vandana had to judge her. It's wrong and see where this has lead us.

If Maya turns out to be the killer of the Mauritius pundit n Ashwin, then will u accept that Maya always was like before marriage also, n Vandana saw through her ??

Whether someone likes it or not but Maya is justified in everything she does only because Maya is played by Jennifer winget who is popular and had many fans. If we reverse roles of Maya and saanjh n give Maya to Aneri and saanjh to Jennifer then saanjh will be loved and justified and Maya will be called names .. And this is not unique to this forum, it happens in all forums that I have visited.

Oh come guys pls don't start with Maya fans being Jennifer fans blah blah blah

For a fact before I had started watching Beyhadh, I didn't know these actors. Jennifer, Kushal and Aneri all are new to me.

In the beginning I really liked Saanjh but as the episodes passed by I realised Saanjh was more obsessed of Arjun then Maya. She was also controlling Arjun. As Vandana had once said to Saanjh that she "never" allowed any third person to come in between dusky and duffer. They were behaving as though Arjun and Saanjh were married. Lol

Fact is there are viewers who notice and see the show on neutral level. Right now I am no one specific character's fan.

All are messed up. Its all due to actions and reactions. What matters is who first acts and invokes a reaction to the opposite person.

If and only if Vandana had taken one positive step into accepting Maya. If and only if Saanjh had not tried to cross the limit with Arjun's friendship. If and only if Arjun had maintained a distance with hid friend Saanjh. If and only if Maya quit her non trust issues.

One positive step was what all demanded and the situation would have been different.

As Panditji had predicted to Vandana about ArYa's future. Love has immense power. If the Love is directed towards a positive direction then that very same Love can give you wings. Problem is VM only focussed on the negative aspect instead of trying to understand Panditji's prediction.

WHAT I'm focusing on is being brushed aside.

Let me give a situation.

Your best friend suddenly brings in a guy and tells that she's getting married to him within a week. You are a bit astounded but you trust your best friend and her choice and you be fine with it. Suddenly that very night you get a phone call from another of your friend who is hardly your friend though because you know she's engaged in some antisocial activities time and again. You mostly avoid her but somehow pick up her call that night. She almost gasping tells you, " please prevent your best friend from marrying that man. He will bring hell into her life. He's got a tremendous past and he ..." , the line disconnects. You are horrified. You call your friend and she brushes you aside saying, " You already know how she's. You are trusting her more than me and my choice? "

You are calmed a bit.

The next day the last night phone caller gets murdered.

Now tell me, how many of you being 'you' would not suspect the new man in your best friend's life? How many of you being normal, won't suspect he's got something to do with the murder? How many of you will let your best friend marry him without thinking twice?

I agree. While it might not hold true for every fan since there is always exception but most Jennifer fans are Maya fans and they want her enacted role to "win" against Saanjh who's ostensibly a contrast of Maya in a very positive way.

Good question. For Ashwin, I would say that he deserved to die. And to be honest, I would never hate Maya if I came to know that she murdered Ashwin, that man was physically/maybe sexually abusing her so if she killed him out of self defense then fine. For pundit idk.

I don't think she is the murderer though, let's see. Vandana is so judgemental anyway.. without even knowing she judged her.

When I read this whole thread I see that Maya/Jen is getting a lot of credit for this show. I respectfully disagree with that. I think everyone has a potential to act given the site story and direction. Stop bashing Sanjh.There is no way we could prove it that Sanjh could not play Maya. The story-line is so week that no actor has any potential to perform anymore including Jen as she keeps giving the same looks as Sanjh keeps giving as all the moms. No one has any new challenge so do not know what new they can bring to the table. Frankly they should kill Arjun and Maya and bring the show to an end before the show dies a horrible death on its own.

The show has become so stale that it's stinking. Maya's body language is all so predictable now that even convincing myself that jennifer can act and so maya can be tolerated isn't working anymore.
