Arjun is in a jail too.

Maya has been tortured a lot, I agree so much. But what she's giving to others now isn't also justified. If vandana and saanjh contributed, they have got their pay back.

But Maya? Her past doesn't really give her the ticket to commit lifelong crimes. I believe aswins death, jahnvi's paralysis, Samay's presence, her immense intelligence, everything makes it too convenient for her to escape anything she does.

I don't think we can compare maya with hannah because there hannah killed herself. And provocation to suicide is always a crime worth punishment. ( I haven't watched the series but have heard of it a lot.)

Whereas maya is choking others. If she has turned an abuser because of others, those others need to be punished it's fine. And they have been. They are being. But neither should the abuser escape Scott free.

Ps : philosophically suicide itself is a crime. 😊

@bold, I disagree on the first part because that is something very common people face in real life too but if they have family like Saanjh they would have been moved on by now. Samay has not done anything harmful to Saanjh other than lying to her about his past.

I won't justify Maya's action by her childhood but in real life it gets hard for people like Maya who are already on the verge of destruction to bring them back to right path. I am waiting for the day when the girl will breakdown, people believe its Arjun's love and medical can save Maya but my own personal belief says that only an individual has the capability to heal themselves.

@Penfolk, this time also it will not be an heartbreak but she will of course feel bad, anybody would be when your fiancee play with your parent's feelings. Okay lets agree for once Saanjh had heartbreak, but what about other people (exclude Maya), example lets consider Vandana and Arjun had also share of their pain from years more than what Saanjh is facing.

The damage is already done.

They,in a way inflicted Maya with a life long psychological pain because as we are seeing, redeeming Maya seems far-fetched. The gravity of their acts( that some people may find minor and common) had a serious impact on Maya.

And they pushed Maya to do what she is doing( no I'm not justifying Maya at all) , and in this process you might think Maya is winning,but she is killing herself slowly and slowly

Arjun might not remain her husband but might remain a friend.

Saanjh too might not move on at all nor get tied to arjun anyday but help maya and arjun return to a better life.
