Who tagged maya the princess of nation?? 😕
I called her psycho if u read properly not a princess... And I didn't watch saubhagyavti bhava so I don't know much about viraj's character... Or how was the actor like if his acting skills enhanced that character or not... But somewhere in social media I read that the show is going on just because of viraj... So people did like his character then...

Vandana didn't deserve that I agree... No one does... But that doesn't mean one has to feel sorry for her...
If u watch game of thrones, there septa unella didn't deserve special torture from the mountain... But still majority of audience loved what cersie did to unella... Everyone loved cersie for that episode... It's okay to not always feel sorry for the victim... It's not real life... 😊

maya may have benefited from counselling or medication at early stages but now she is irredeemable and needs admission at mental asylum that is my opinion being a doctor

So, limited choice of players at Maya's house where the real action happens nowadays! A saas-bahu story always sells to a target audience! An overdose of DV is getting a liberal nod even in TVs! B'wood movies have shown the trend long back!
So all in all, it is a stop-gap tamasha as the main story is likely to take off with a FB sequence, hopefully next week!

The fact that this torture didn't get some valuable results i.e Vandana didn't budge is a proof that maybe you are right. The whole thing was a fill-up for Arjun actor's absence. But was this a saas-bahu torture show in the first place? Did we sign up for a gory version of Sath Nibhana Sathiya? If one actor is absent then they should have compensated the screenplay with some other interesting players like Samay or his and Maaya's back story. Maaya is en-route to meet Samay since last Friday and today is Thursday...dude.. and they are expecting a hike in ratings.😳

Good point. Even I liked Cersei in that episode, but I think the main reason was her walk of shame which melt people's heart for her and also how can a woman do this to another woman which makes Septa Unella a less likable character.

We cannot apply the same logic on Maya and Vandana. Vandana has not done anything so severe to Maya to deserve it, and people still want Maya to have a change of heart and redeemed herself which was not the case with Cersei. People know she is a villain out and out and they expect the same from her.

Septa unella didn't decide her punishment... She was just one of the servents of high sparrow... Cersie could have killed her with other sparrows but she kept her alive to torture her... Unella was just following orders... But cersie had special grudge against her for how she treated her in prison... What septa unella did to her wasn't as severe as her walk of shame decided by high sparrow..
And characters can be redeemed anytime... First season I never thought I could like jamie lannister after he pushed bran... Nor theon after he betrayed starks and killed two little boys... Though I don't expect to that level in this show...
I personally want maya to stay a psychopath and hoping for gone girl type of ending... But considering this is an indian drama so chances are less... It will be like either maya will redeem herself and live happily with Arjun... Or she will die/locked in jail or asylum and saanjh will live happily with Arjun...

The scene was indeed very disturbing 🤢.Not a fan of such explicitly violent scenes.Makers need to tone down some scenes to suit a TV audience
