Quite disturbing, I too have vented it all out enough. Having said that, I do think it's necessary to show as to what extremes Maya can go to. Otherwise, she'll always remain in the bracket of a 'grey' character. Ever season 2 began, I can see them slowly making Maya climb up the ladder of grey to straight up pitch dark. These scenes, these instances, they're a testimony to Maya's psyche which according to me makes her a psychopath.

Thank god I watch the episode online. but yes it was worse... I think they should cut these scenes and focus more on the story.

I didn't find it that disturbing... I don't mean vandana deserved it... Just that I have seen worse stuffs... And for me what maya did to Ayan is worse than what she did to vandana today... It's just a physical injury which won't cause any permanent damage... But she destroyed Ayan's whole life...
I liked today's episode... Because for first time CVs have dared to show the main lead as negative on television... I am liking dark and negative maya... She is psychotic... So this is nothing unexpected from her... Psychopaths can go to any level of physical/mental torture... And the worst part is they don't even know they are wrong... Compared to them today's scene was quite mellowed down... I am just shocked why are viewers so disturbed... What else did they expect from her???

Why are people liking this evil MAYA?? I do not find anything fascinating about this chick, except for she is a miserable psychopath.. She needs to be put away permanently before she causes destruction to others.

It was indeed very disturbing...well it won't be promoted as majority of the people who watch Beyhad are those who love thriller and have watched even more disturbing scenes...Redemption? Redemption for a patient with mental illness seriously? She needs to be treated...

Psychological State Diagnosed: Psychopathy

A person with NO sense of right and wrong needs treatment and a new beginning to start afresh..without paying for the deeds he/she did in the state of being mentally ill...

Thanks for making this thread. I was too disgusted by the amount of violence and gore in tonight's episode. Imagine women watching this with children around. 🤢

Maya is generally good to those who are good to her!
Only those who tried to cross her line faced her wrath!
Ashwin & Ayaan were done with!
It is Vandana's turn now!
Saanjh is lucky but not for long!Surely Maya must be keeping her 'best' for Saanjh!
And Arjun?
well well, the day is not far off!
Enough number of Pundis have warned him! He did not listen!
Will it be the beyhadh climax if & when Arjun takes on psycho Maya?
If that happens, it will be a clash to watch for!
Everyone wants to know who the real hero of story is!

This is the first time I fully agree with u. I always have believed Maya has redemption possibilities, but after this I think it's not possible.
Still keeping hopes as Jenny said Maya is a grey character so maybe the show has planned a redemption phase for her.

About TV showing such violent scenes... The physical violence part is usually not shown. But in rare cases such scenes are shown. Usually mental torture is shown on TV n I have seen extreme scenes like this in a Life OK show where the main lead was psycho.

Agreed. And the worst part is, they are somehow promoting torture by these prolonged physical abuse scenes. I don't know what they want to prove with all this saas-bahu torture in reverse order but it isn't helping the story or their visuals.

This torture sequence was shown a bit too long-perhaps the time slots in screen play need to be filled-up! Arjun aka KT is away or something due to an eyesore? So, limited choice of players at Maya's house where the real action happens nowadays! A saas-bahu story always sells to a target audience! An overdose of DV is getting a liberal nod even in TVs! B'wood movies have shown the trend long back!
So all in all, it is a stop-gap tamasha as the main story is likely to take off with a FB sequence, hopefully next week!
