After watching precap yesterday, I was pretty sure of not watching the episode... And even when Dad reminded me of Beyhadh... I chose to start sarabhai on laptop.. But hearing word Maya there.. Couldn't just stop myself and decided to give it a shot even though it would be disturbing and negative..
Exactly at that scene did I start it...
Do CVs not understand this could be exactly state of wish which some married woman might wish to do... But just has to stop at imagination.. I have a pregnant cousin following the show and has major issues with her MIL... And I remember her telling me, I wish I had guts like Maya.. Just stating... Effects a show can have on ladies following it...

But then such extremes was expected.. But as many of you mentioned. It would be easier to watch it for shorter duration. Being very honest... Watching murder scenes in CID and Crime Patrol is definitely easier than watching depressing slow suffering in tele shows...
Again hats off to cvs

I am not sure if the episode was more disturbing to me or the fact that there are people proudly proclaiming that they felt nothing for Vandana bcos apparently Vandana went to Maya's room so maya punished her. As if it was the most natural thing to do. I am shocked at how you can feel that way. How in the world can you say the victim deserved it. I am truly shocked not at maya but the section of audience who seem to have felt nothing for the victim 😕

I liked today's episode... Because for first time CVs have dared to show the main lead as negative on television... I am liking dark and negative maya... She is psychotic... So this is nothing unexpected from her... Psychopaths can go to any level of physical/mental torture... And the worst part is they don't even know they are wrong... Compared to them today's scene was quite mellowed down... I am just shocked why are viewers so disturbed... What else did they expect from her???

I guess u didnt watch saubhagyavati Bhava quite similar to Beyhadh
Bt there no one tags Viraj was Prince of Nation

here people does that wd Maya🥱

To be honest, I felt nothing for Vandana.😃 The only thing I was not comfortable with, was that Maya resorted to physical torture, which was not something I necessarily wanted to see. But still I can live with it, since she is supposed to be a psycho. 😆

When Maya watched the gold fish die with pleasure we should have understood that this was coming. The CVS are clear with their story. They are throwing symbolism and making us ready for darker shade of Maya. It's very clear that more is to come. Mayais traveling the path where there is no scope for redemption.
The episode indeed was very disturbing.

How I wish there was a dislike button. Some of the comments are more disturbing than the episode.

If this is going to happen often, then it is time that Makers take some social responsibility!
Please consider it seriously, issuing some kind of warning to viewers, before telecast of an episode!!

They can not forget that it is a prime time show where families also watch with young children!
They can show anything that passes the norms of telecast but don't take viewers by surprise!
Be responsible by issuing a suitable prior warning !

Hmm, they can give a statutory warning. More than that, the climax of the show should be in a way that they don't give excuses for Maya's behaviour. Maya is now at the point of no return.

Many a time, some of us ask if these things can be seen in a movie theatre, why not on our home TVs?
There is an important difference here! Normally, if one chooses to go to movie, some kind of prior information is available what to expect in the movie plus one also makes an informed choice whom to take along with, to theatre!
In home TVs, we do not have a choice as entire family sits & watches the TV shows in living room!
And nobody will get any prior info what is going to unfold on a given day, in an episode!
So the Makers & Channel need to give some thought while they want to show 'extremities' they also need to keep in mind what impact that would cause in different cross-sections of society with young children around!
