Sadly and ironically, everyone just opts to see the other side of the story. Vandana was right, she always had been, but there's certain things that cannot be forgotten or overlooked despite the passing of 3 years.

Maya gave vandana the chance to wholeheartedly accept her and Maya tried very hard! She kept her patience and kept hope that one day vandana will accept Maya. But vandana lost her chance...

I do agree with what you say, Maya was terribly humiliated by Vandana, not once, but several times. It's a pity that despite being on the right track Vandana didn't choose to make people aware of the truth in any other way. I also believe Vandana could foresee Arjun's life crumbling into pieces after his marriage/relationship with Maya, she predicted his undoing, but tried to let him know in a very wrong way.

Although Vandana's character has many flaws, I felt really bad for her yesterday when she was all alone at home. I think she looked at Mathurs as her family but they also want to move on now without her.

Once they left the house, acceptance by Vandana did not matter.
And Maya is not an ordinary girl. I agree that Vandana behaved too aggressively at that time. But then everyone lived their lives without interference. It was Saanjh's mistake to try and bring the brothers together first and then the family reunion.
