I disagree about the twist part. It is not a twist, it is the story. The story is about this girl who was abused, controlled, manipulated as a child and how when she grew up she is doing all those samething's to the people around her. Once again a sad reality in this world. There are many kids out there who gets abused as a kid and they become the abuser victimizing others and the cycle continues. The story is based on that. If maya grew up to be conscious of what her father did and consciously stays away from everything she dealt with, then the story line will not be of beyhadh right? We will be watching another story about a good maya. But this story is not about a good maya, this story is about a twisted maya. Who may or may not redeem at the end, we have to watch the story to find out what happens to her.

I said in my main post that after Ayan clearly assaulting Maya is still shown an aspect that he's innocent then CVs this twist is quite illogical AND AFTER Maya's so many tears trauma etc. Whenever Maya does something she gives her signature smirk which makes us understand she's gaming everything. So the CVs to show us suspense is making Maya over react with so much trauma tears crying suicidal attempts. Any normal girl would do that we'd feel so sympathetic towards her but since its Maya so we think its the wolf story maybe.

I agree with the rest that abused people themselves become abuwers. Ive seen it in real life too

I felt there Maya was actually genuine, but Vandana being the dumb and blind woman that she is was never willing to give her a chance. But Ayaan she had NO issue with.

Therefore I don't believe she was setting up Ayaan at all. I think what happened was not something even SHE expected. Ayaan actually was sexually assaulting her and I hope that it comes out later that that was the case! I want to see Vandana's face and also Saanjh's face when it does. Ayaan is a liar. In this case he is lying and he is not some goody two shoes. He was hooking up with girls from a dating site all the time and I think may have even been involved in drugs. I won't be surprised if they show that he actually intended to assault Maya as a means of getting revenge, but it backfired on him. I think there was a reason they showed Ayaan as having a "thing" for Maya earlier on. He never hid his admiration and Vandana even Arjun had to tell him off sometimes. So this may be a big twist and I hope Beyhadh makers don't dissapoint us!

I am yet to see a post in this forum that claims Ayan is innocent. Everyone is accepting that his is guilty of forceful entry and physical assault. The only part where forum is divided is on attempt to rape. If he indeed was attempting or rape or sexual assault then he should be punished. But since Maya is already lying about getting raped to Arjun, high chances are she is lying about attempt to rape as well. From her characterization she will do any go to any extend to get what she want in this case get Arjun. This is part of the story where writers are showing to what extend she could go. They clearly did not show us all the physical struggle portions, they did not show us everything he was telling Sanj so there is more to it than meets the eye. Just like it is not fair to maya that Ayan walks free if he did sexual assault similarly it is not fair to Ayan for him to get punished for attempted rape if he is not guilty of rape attempt. He should get the punishment for what he is guilty of, if he did physical assault that is the punishment he should get. Let the story unfold...

I was merely bringing the point of his hook ups as an example that he is not some innocent. Neither is he someone who is totally honest. I now doubt him on the drugs thing too and I did even then. But later dismissed it. Since Beyhadh is a fairly well thought out story I would not be too surprised if there are a few surprises from Ayaan's past as well.

It just could be that Ayaan does Chance Pe Dance and this was yet another one of those occasions. When he told Saanjh "I would never do anything to a girl", well he was lying. He had already assaulted Maya physically, even if he is denying the sexual allegations. So that line of never doing anything to a woman was wrong anyway.
