I don't want the cvs to make fun of something like "rape" which is sensitive issue to be mocked for showing Beyhadhness of maya.
They can show in some other things also her Beyhadhness but now if this's shown in bad light from maya's side then it would be giving wrong notion to the society.

I really didn't like this rape attempt thing happening. It was disturbing to see such things.

On one hand we saw Maya being in trauma the whole day and the on other hand Ayan's muted conversation and his confidence of being innocent. Like any other drama to put a twist they will reveal in the end it was Maya's plan but how?😕 Tearing clothes to get key is also assault, and it needs punishment (of course not the same punishment for rape) but if Samay had not arrived no one knows what it would have turned into.

So just to put a stupid twist CVs will butcher Maya's character completely by using rape accusation falsely as a weapon to get someone. Seriously? This will be the most disturbing thing to watch. Maya season 1 was so good. The time when Ashwin published her picture with Arjun in the newspaper she dropped a tear seeing that but when Arjun entered her office she wiped those tears and faced Arjun as if nothing happened. That was the strong independent Maya. Her games if played were classic instead of the games that are played now. CVs are doing so much injustice with her character because at the moment her tears her trauma seems so genuine but if all this was a big game it will make her worst character for making fun of such sensitive issue. I so hope Maya and Arjun both are genuine. Arjun is supporting Maya truly and Maya is right so atleast ArYa can be together.

Why do you think CVs will butcher Maya's character now. This is the real Maya CVs promised us to show. It has started from season 1, they gave many hints but many missed those hints in defending her actions. I know you don't want to see Maya as negative. But few always predicted how dangerous Maya could turn in future. CVs are showing different shades of Maya. Shades differ from gentle to manic. If you remember one scene of Maya, when she saw Ashwin in the hotel, she took help of a guard to escape from Ashwin. When she was about to give money to that guard, he said, "bacchon se paise nahi leta.. puttar.." and see what she said to the person who helped her, "call me.. Madam..". She doesn't have to be rude to the person who helped her. There are many incidents which went unnoticed while defending her. CVs have definite plan for Maya and so for other characters as well.

One thing is for sure.. Since this is finite series, I am sure Jennifer read the whole script and signed the show. Aneri read the whole script and signed the show and so Kushal also.
I am loving the story, hope CVs would not butcher 'the story' now.

Exactly! Saara beyhadh wala cheez ek jagah and making a mockery of such sensitive issue ek jagah. Mixing both of them is so not right but CVs are hell bent on showing Maya as evil due to her beyhadhness

This is a real wrong notion that victims of abuse pass their lives as helpless, docile things always. Victim of all any kind of abuse can go on to be even bigger abuser in his/her life. It's called the cycle of abuse. Read it up online. This is sad but true.

I am not saying a victim should be helpless. All I'm saying a victim should be a survivor, get out of trauma of it and grow very strongly as a normal individual. Being normal doesn't mean subsiding to the misery in life.
I have seen it alot and watched a drama over it too. Its like "when the abused becomes the abuser".

Recently I was watching a drama a 19 year old girl was forcefully married to a 47 year old man as the man bribed her parents and her fiance. After he died and she was 29 she got all his property and fell in love with a 19 year old boy and she bribed his fiancee to break with him and forced him into a relationship with her by power of money. Whatever she suffered, she made that other guy suffer the same. In one she was the victim and in the other an abuser. So people suffering from abuse become the abuser themselves. As you said it is sad but true

Both issues are equally sensitive and serious. Rape and false allegations of rape. Both destroy's people's life equally. Both are heinous and horrendous crimes that unfortunately happens in our society an both leaves the victims scarred for life.
While I take the issue if rape very fey seriously I take the issue of false allegations equally seriously as will. Either way they have touched a sensitive topic one of their lives will be ruined either way. If Ayan intended to fight with her for keys and had no sexual intentton his life is ruined and done for if he is convicted. If maya was sexually molested and Ayan walks free then she will feel violated for life. Whoever did the crime should get the punishment. I don't agree with the topic that maya cannot be ruined by the CV's. Ayan is also a human being character so either way one of them is ruined.

I am gong to assume for the sake of argument that Ayan did have sexual intent and intended to rape her (if that is the case he must be punished). If that was the case why is Maya claiming to Arjun that she was raped. Does she think she was raped when she was not? Isn't it a crime already to lie about something like rape. If she is already lying about getting raped why is it hard to think she will lie about attempt to rape.

It would have been other thing if Arjun had sided with Ayaan but here Arjun is supporting maya. They r rich. THey can hire best lawyer. Police is on their side. So it's shut n open case if truth is on Maya's side. Maya-Arjun will be end game so what's the point of showing all Maya's craziness??

This story is about laya and her beyhadness.. Makers want to show how anything beyhad is bad which comes with maya loosing everything at end and Arjun also loosing. If arya ends up together and fight this together, this show will turn out to be just another love story? Pretty boring.. On other hand if it's her plan then it would be so muvh interesting and every character getting redemption. Now Ayaan vandana won't forgive Arjun ever so he wil end up alone. Maya will end up alone may be in asylum and saanjh will end up alone leaving samay.

And frankly I don't watch this show for any social message or as morality lessons. It's just a show like millions of others. So I am ok if one character stages fake attempt of rape case. That would be much better for show than lovey dovey husband wife fighting together ..

I agree to the part that if ArYa end up together it will be like any other show. This all still doesn't justify this diverse step of Maya. It's not even about morality lessons it's just that Maya is being shown pure evil if she turns out to be the murderer and the one faking the rape. In season 1 atleast she was grey. She burnt her own hands while saving Saanjh. She did try to genuinely win over Vandana as she told her Ganesh. So yeah some moments atleast she showed some empathy but in season 2 how she told the scissors to shut up cuz Arjun is sleeping and hundreds of suicide attempts. It shows she is so weak, chalo free ho suicide karlete hai. Atleast in season 1 she was strong and handled so much all by herself and over here relying on emotional blackmail of suicidal attempts.

Yup it is a finite series and everything is going exactly how it's supposed to be.
Yes I agree they showed hints of that Maya. But as I said in my earlier post that atleast Maya had some sympathetic side. Burning her own hands to save Saanjh. Forgiving Arjun on his mistakes in the beginning days (before him saving her from Ashwin) , genuinely trying to win over Vandana (she told her Ganesh this) and other small incidents. But in season 2 she's been only shown in negative light like telling scissors to shut up as Arjun is sleeping, lame and hundred suicide attempts, the assault shes giving Arjun and so much more.
As you said I guess this is how the story had to shape and end

In season 1, did not she threaten Arjun of dying together. Wasn't this a blackmail?. And so it is continuing in season 2. This is what I am trying to say, there are things is season 1 which many people ignored. There were always signs that Maya would go to any extent.

I disagree about the twist part. It is not a twist, it is the story. The story is about this girl who was abused, controlled, manipulated as a child and how when she grew up she is doing all those samething's to the people around her. Once again a sad reality in this world. There are many kids out there who gets abused as a kid and they become the abuser victimizing others and the cycle continues. The story is based on that. If maya grew up to be conscious of what her father did and consciously stays away from everything she dealt with, then the story line will not be of beyhadh right? We will be watching another story about a good maya. But this story is not about a good maya, this story is about a twisted maya. Who may or may not redeem at the end, we have to watch the story to find out what happens to her.
