For people who are stating maya blamed him for rape..Listen carefully she told he attempted to rape..As per his dialogues and his act, he sexually assaulted her..How dare he to push and tear her dress?? NO WOMAN DESERVES THIS, though how bad she is..She is your SIL Damn it!! I know you won't treat her like one..Atleast respect her as a woman😡

It was such a disgusting and sad episode. I was crying throughout the episode. Don't know why Cvs had to show rape in the show :(

@Preet:
No yaar. He clearly said "Death is easy for you. Main tumai Maut se bhi bathar saza doonga" or something like that.

So what is worse than death for a woman? Rape or sexual violation right? We ALL know that. There is NO other way to interpret what he said Preet. He was threatening to attack her and he was starting to tear her clothes and she started to believe he was going to do it too, even if he actually would have stopped. (Even that is unclear at this stage). Samay coming there stopped the whole thing.

But his claim at the lock-up to Saanjh that "I would NEVER act that way with a girl" was a pack of lies. He threatened Maya with sexual assault, and that part is 100% true even if he wasn't actually going to go to the full lengths of carrying it out.

Today I am MOST disappointed because I always loved Ayaan. I was also one of the people who didn't want to assume the worst after seeing the precap (which looked pretty bad). But in this case the episode was actually worse than what I had even anticipated. Watch it again, I think you will realise the actual lines he said.

Yes even Iam shocked that some members supporting ayaan for his actions... They are saying Maya separated arjun from them so his behavior is justified how funny ...even in law it is their if daughter in law or son in law not willing to stay at in-laws house then they can stay away from in-laws then how Maya is wrong... It is arjuns mistake he didn't meet his family members not Maya's mistake... Ayaan attacking Maya like that is against law so he should be punished and even Maya too she forcing arjun to stay with her so Maya too should be punished by court giving divorce to Maya and saving arjun from Maya... Sorry Maya forced relationships won't stay long time...

My point was none should be excused. If maya can escape giving 'mentally ill' excuse, then even ayan should be left becoz he was not in his conscious. Both should be punish.

One should goto jail, another should be sent to mental asylum. Period.

Can't believe people are supporting potential rapists now!! God save the women in our country.

And drug dealers? Seriously? What sort of comparison is that?😆 What Maya did was equivalent to what drug dealers do?

I know it's futile to argue with you further since you have no knowledge about 'mental illness', but I would like to inform you that the asylums are not meant for people with all sorts of psychological problems. Most of these problems can be treated with the love and care of loved ones.

Ayan cannot search keys in clothes. I felt Maya kept the keys in the table perfectly visible and as per me she expected physical assault. Pushing, tying up, slapping etc etc which is not sexual. But what happened to her was molestation and sexual assault. And Ayan intended it. Just like Darcy said something worse than death for a woman is rape or sexual assault. He also told he knows how to keep woman like her in line.
Ayan himself tells he is not like Arjun. Yes Arjun has his flaws, he wants control over women which is related to his past, but so far I have not seen anything from him where he misbehaves with a woman. His ego clouds his emotional vulnerability. And that ego makes you not able to sympathize with him completely.

But Ayan was bought naked home after dating. No one had any issues. he was caught in a drug scandal from where Maya rescued him without asking whether he did it or not. I had at that time itself told what Maya did was wrong. She should have tried to understand whether Ayan was linked to drug scandal. And the man she rescued from a crime which he may have committed, has done this crime to her. She will lose. Her past actions will come calling where this molestation will be made fake for sure. She will be disrobed in public for everyone to view, to feel happy.

And to those who think Maya set up the rape, it is the same mentality of people who told Panchali deserved to be called a prostitute because she rejected Karna and she deserved what she got because she laughed at Duryodhana. It is also the mentality of people who say rape/attempted rape is a mistake not a crime.

Maya has her mistakes/crime whatever but that doesnt justify the crime of Ayan.

I read about one member talking about her experience as a child. I have only one thing to tell. Dear please discuss with your parents and go for psychological support at the earliest. Get healed yourself. What happened was not your fault. It is the men's attitude that makes a woman his property.

Or he could have come with the cops to Maya's place but he took the matter in his hands. Ayaan was the only character I liked after Maya but he has disappointed me in that episode. There is a redemption for everything but not rape/attempt to rape/molestation or even murder(except for the self defense/protecting others)

Pushing a woman and, as a result, tearing her sleeve is not considered sexual assault. This term is getting thrown around way too often without any basis.

What was he doing on the top of her?? I have seen every single dialogue of maya was elaborated in this forum..Then what about the cheap dialogues he thrown at Maya was being ignored..If she hid the keys in her dress, there are many ways he can do to break the lock..This is not a way to to obtain the key..

@KS please ignore Hippo
He/she has gone to the extent of calling Maya a rapist because she put her head on Arjun's chest!

Exactly KS. if a man wants to break the door, instead of using his brute force on a single woman tearing apart her dress and pinning her down, talking cheap dialogues he can use the same force to push and open the door.
I dont think that apartment door is that heavy to stand some heavy pushes. If he had tried that, Maya tried to stop him and then tussle would have been better justifiable than he straight going for her with cheap dialogues.

Hey, sorry but I don't appreciate being called a Maya hater just because you can't take the truth. I have loved Maya as a character for a long time, but I just had to draw the line with her this time. I admit that it was my misquoting when I said Maya accused him, but I do think she led him into the act - for the reasons in my first post.

I have not justified Ayaan, he is wrong and I admit that. However, IF this is Maya trying to frame him, or trying to make it look worse than it was meant to be, then Maya is gravely at fault, even more so than Ayaan. She is wrong, wrong, wrong.
And it was also clear to me that he molested her - he was also wrong, wrong, and, if Maya's ego and anger at the fact that Arjun went back to his house for Ayaan had nothing to do with this, then only Ayaan was wrong. But given how obsessive Maya feels about Arjun, and her staunch belief that only she has a right to Arjun, I'm pretty sure that's not true. Maya even used the "How did he dare to snatch your respect?" line to try and turn Arjun against his brother. And all this can make sense because Arjun told her he'd left her FOR AYAAN.

As for Ayaan - although I agree that it was his mistake, I think that a person, even the most noble, is capable of anything under alcohol. And especially if they've just been turned against someone (Arjun ranting to Ayaan about the 3 years of his misery at the hands of Maya), it is in human nature for them to do something irresponsible like this. I don't think this is characteristic of Ayaan or his attitude towards women in any way. And I'd like to reiterate that Ayaan only got physical when he was denied access to his brother. But a molestation is always the molester's fault, I again admit - but it says absolutely nothing about Ayaan's character, it was just a big mistake.
