@Darling you are right about Arjun I feel, see that dialogue had lingered in me long also, also the reason why so far he has not gone for a divorce. The reason is Arjun wants to be the centre of someone's life. He never was in true sense. Losing his mother as a 6 year old he was a lonely child. So he feels if Maya is completely cured she may not need him. It is her sickness that keeps her to him. Otherwise what can interest the business tycoon Maya can have in a photographer. He cannot lose her. Somewhere he is also afraid of her leaving him. That defines their relationship. Arjun is afraid of Maya going, Maya thinks he is committing adultery. Basically both of them dont have someone with whom they can pour their hearts out. Someone who can show them direction to correct things.
Coming to VM it was very clear from beginning her character was to show, how victims are more victimized by the world, by the so called people who claims to be God/Goddess. How their judgement destroy sane lives . Vandana claims to be a nurse. Was she. With each passing episode I am thinking what did she do to Raksha. VM didnt show empathy when Arjun told Jhanvi had to be bought to the apartment. Is it a nurse nature. Now also when Arjun tells Maya is sick, she tells Maya is bad. If she is a nurse wont she have basic knowledge of how mental illness can make people do violent acts. Wont she know basics of psychology. So what is she. Who told she is a nurse. What did she do to Raksha Arjun's mother.
@ashpat a good mother will always try to keep the relation than break it. They will atleast make effort. They are many MILs who tolerate even their abusive DILs for the sake of their son. Maya was not the abuser when she came married to Vandana's house. She was trying to adapt. This woman just needed to give her a chance.
