Doesn't it feel strange, this plan. It doesn't feel like only VM or Saanjh, I smell Samay in it.
I mean, if Arjun is brought to believe Ayaan's innocence, it is game over for ArYa, Samay wants to break their already broken marriage anyway, but he doesn't want Maya to know of his involvement.
And even if VM does not manage to garner enough proof, she can still instigate Arjun. Maya already doesn't trust Arjun (both Maya and Arjun have broken each other's trust) , but she still loves him, but what if the duffer is instigated to do something that makes Maya unable to love him anymore.
Maya did say "Jab tak pyaar hai tab tak zeher khilane ki nobat nahi aane doongi, aur jab pyaar nahi hoga... "
However, I also feel that Maya is incapable of breaking her 7th vow, so her leaving Arjun, or trying to get rid of him has really low possibility.
So the only way to break the marriage is to instigate the already annoyed and whining Duffer.

it's been 3years,how come Arjun would ve not tried annoying Maya..As of now he seems to act to protect his family,so he will play along maya..But agree VM can distract Maya totally into Arjun by instigating him,so she can gather info regarding something..Maya baby being very smart,would be interesting to see how do they do that..

Samay is really intriguing,the way he said if my secrets comes out,Maya will kill me..It does mean,he don't want Maya to be killer or get affected and want maya for himself.

But like the first time he can be the catalyst. He brings Dusky back to Mumbai. Swear, he tired wait when Duffer will do fatal mistake. He lets Dusky go to a friend, and moreover he says that friends should not be abandoned. He gently pushes her towards Arjun

@sunithi, Samay needs one simple thing. Arjun must make the same mistake as Samay. Do the same as Samay did. Then all vows and attempts will fail. Samay is already at this point. Samay need to bring Arjun to this point. And it doesn't matter whether Arjun intentionally makes this mistake or if he doesn't intentionally

As an option, Maya thought that Samay was dead
