What was that EVEN???
My heart went out to Maya today ...Her scene in front of God was heartbreaking to say the least 💔
I've always said that you only see her true self in front of God. The rest of the time she has a mask on. The vulnerable innocent Maya begging God to give her happiness and to not take away the one thing she wants just makes you want to reach out and hug her. Also, she confirmed that her efforts were genuine with Vandana initially so we can put that discussion to rest. And she mentioned how separating Ayan from Arjun was never her plan so I guess the confusion about her purposely trying to separate Ayaan can be laid to rest as well. Ayaan was just unintentional collateral damage.
Keeping everything she has done and may have done aside for the moment NO WOMAN deserves to be treated the way Arjun treated her today. The utter humiliation and pain that a woman would go through if she has to witness her husband ignore her for his female bff and almost sexually dance with her with absolutely no regard for his wife's feelings whatsoever is just so heart braking to think about. That's what Maya went through today and I loved the fact that the CVs chose to highlight how wrong Arj-Saanjh were in their behavior by showing the other guests comment about it and Suman apologise for it to Maya. The inappropriate bahviour needed to be called out and they did.
What the freaking heck has gotten into Arjun?? So apparently now he can't see anyone else when his "Dusky" is around? He does'nt even seek out Maya during the whole song sequence, like not even once did he even attempt to dance with Maya or to even look at her. What sort of behavior is this??? Are we supposed to feel bad for this guy in the future if Maya makes him pay for this?? I hope they show that he does'nt really love Maya and married her for money because if they are going to say that he does love Maya and this was just momentary lapse of judgement because he was drunk then I'll be like BS 🤢...No guy "In love" with his wife will ever behave the way he did. Nope not buying that excuse at all.
ANd Saanjh...can I give her one tight slap please??? What has gotten into this normally sensible girl lately?? She always had a moral compass, knew her boundaries, corrected Arjun when he crossed his...so then why has her moral conscious disappeared ? Why are her boundaries suddenly so blurry?? Why does she STILL FEEL that SHE has the right to be put the first holi colour on Arjun instead of HIS WIFE?? So she still thinks she holds a more important position in his life even though he now has a wife and is about to be a father??? 😕 Super unhealthy thought process that is...
And NO just like Maya's past cannot be used to justify all her wrong doings, alcohol CANNOT be used to justify Ar-Sa behavior the last 2 days...You don't become another person if you're drunk, you just lose your inhibitions and say and do things that you've always wanted to do and say anyway but cannot when you are fully in your senses.
Honestly I felt nothing wrong in Maya's behavior and actions TODAY...Ok she offered them more bhaang, it was their choice to accept and drink it or not and they did so then it absolves her of any responsibility for the way they behaved. Maya may not have had Saanjh's best interest at heart when she said those thinks to Suman but what she said was absolutely TRUE. If not her then someone else would have surely said the same thing. Suman's reaction and decision to take Saanjh away from there was absolutely bang on, that is exactly what a caring mother would do. She accepted her daughter's mistake and dragged her away from there instead of shouting at Arjun and blaming him for Saanjh's bhaviour (wish Vandana was here to learn a thing or two from Suman).
Now if Saanjh is going to hold THIS against Maya and blame HER for separating Ar-Sa then I don't know what to say. Of all of Maya's manipulations this is the one time I agree with her. Ar-Sa are responsible for whatever is going befall their "friendship".
I only hope the CVs show Sa-Ar realize how inappropriate their behavior and relation is and apologize to Maya and that they don't just sweep this under the rug as a "drunken mistake" and blame everything on Maya's "manipulation". Let's see how they chose to handle this.
PS: Had to rant after today's episode. 😛...
