Hello All,
Life kept me busy and I had to perforce give up watching my current favorite Beyhadh. Let me share my views about today's post, Please feel free to correct me or lampoon me if I am wide off the mark, which I probably shall be, since I have missed a number of episodes.
A kind of tranquil and gentle episode if one may say so but it is always calm before the storm, isn't it? despite the seeming tranquility, the episode was burgeoning with emotions, impending sadness.
Love has eluded Maya, Always she has been the seeker and like the butterfly, the love/peace, happiness is so close yet so far away!!. As a result, Maya has become paranoid, fearful and very insecure. All of which is going to wreck havoc in her married life.
This show is filled with astrologers, every fortnight, the kundli is polished, read and prophecy declared. what does the prophecy the readings of the birth chart say? That, all the compatibility signs match 100% and that Maya's love is very true! BUT, a big BUT.. while the love is true, Maya will go to any lengths to keep that love to herself, even destroying the love ( for that purpose) - Nevertheless, there is a silver lining - A love that rose out of darkness/ depth can take wings and soar towards light/sky.
That nugget of the scene brings me directly to Maya and Arjun in the mandir where, Arjun says, I have given you my life AGAIN - note the dobara!! .. keep that in mind... we come back to the pandit again, who utters serenely that a human should have the ability to recognize "True Love" .. But before that he also says, the happiness and the sorrows will have to be fought by Arjun ALONE, none can help him except himself. so the fight that's coming, the fight of darkness and the fight of light is going to encompass Arjun, alternately sending him into the throes of despair and cushioning him in the warmth of love. But the fight will be HIS alone.

We move to the boudoir of Maya, where the next gem drops - It's Arjun who says, " After today, Only you will come in between us". As a line, that sounds ridiculous superficially, unless we understand the fact that, beneath Arjun's Maya, lies another Maya- The demon from the past!! And this Maya can and will come in between Maya Sharma & Arjun Sharma. This Maya will aim to destroy Arjun, This Maya will be hated by Arjun and he will loathe her, fight her and will try to move away from her until the time he recognizes the truth in Maya's love!! Then will begin his redemption, then He will give his life again ..Dobara. Then, he will honor his vachan made in front of Ganesh!! and Only then will this love soar to the skies!!
