I don't consider Maya to be ethical. The makers keep dilly-dallying with her character without etching her in a coherent fashion. She's been shown to be a stickler for rules in one episode but doesn't bat an eyelid and constantly ignores Arjun flouting office rules. There are many such instances where I feel she's not ethical at all. But making her a killer is pushing it and there's no need to make her a killer logically too.

Also, not everyone watches the show for Jennifer/Maya. There are people who watch the show for saanjh and for the story as well. Why are we forgetting the tagline 'hadh se zyaada kuch bhi achcha nai hota, pyaar bhi nai'? This is not even a story about Maya and Arjun. It's a story about Maya's love and Saanjh's love. I see no problem with Maya killing the pandit as it goes well with her character, and I believe she is totally capable of it. Having said that, I don't think makers are fools to show us this drastic side of maya just after the proposal. She has done something to the pandit, which has made him disappear and people then think he is dead, that's the only logical explanation besides maya being the murderer. Atleast watch the episode before getting all insecure and making numerous posts here...

Maya's character traits are such that she can kill. If somebody who is not like Maya kills, then it is a surprise/shock, but Maya killing someone is no surprise. All these posts bashing CVs for the precap only show that people are scared that she will kill, just coz even they know that Maya's character is such that she can murder someone. Having said that my personal opinion remains that she hasn't committed this crime, because CVs showing things that way will make a major chunk of audience stop watching the show. My point was, Maya killing goes well with the character, not that she has killed the pandit.
