I already said Arjun character is not sketched well... I mean how come suddenly he felt in love with maya with in a day and arranged all these? If cvs showed that he is attracted to her first( as she is hot) and then he getting involved with her with every moments like ayan bail, vandana scene, in phase wise and finally by seeing her saving him he could not stop his feelings for her and proposes her...this would be apt not like today where till yday he neither had attraction to maya (I mean we can sense guy how he sees his someone special if he gets attracted to as they just stare at her in their own Dream land) nor he had romantic kind of feelings till yday...


thsts my point , its not even rushed just out of no where , if there were little hints , to start with , I would be saying it was rushed ... But arjun went to sleep and woke up inlove , with a RING ready and everything planned to propuse , the guy who can't value relationships is ready to commit ...


atleast with saanj though friend he had some naughty talks in lift scene and don't know why cvs all of sudden went to proposal here directly.

The way he treats saanj at times also make me think he is going to be same with maya too...

angain he is too immature at least saanjh knows what buttons to push


and now cvs are messing up with saanj by making her dumb I understand this show is abt maya behadness but cvs have to concentrate Arjun and saanj characters also not alone Maya's bcz it looks dumb for us to see dumb saajun.

All I know is neither of the girls deserves a dur brain like Arjun. Maya needs someone like Atharv who can empower her and nurture her and transform her into a true embodiment of Adi Shakti - primordial feminine energy.

Atharva sujata is EXACTLY the type of person Maya needs ... He has the respect , level headedness , need to protect yet empower , the ambition but , also the vision , he has it in him to look for his own path instead of people handing it over to him ... Atharva values relationships and most importantly he has the maturity , he doesn't want you to live for him or because of him , but to live life for YOURSELF... My main problem with arya isn't really maya but arjun , he isn't mature enough or serious enough to be the support system maya needs

It's sad that the characterizations are all over the place with a good measure of ainvei (in your face) symbolisms thrown in for the heck of it!

I think all the info we might have about arjun comes from the symbolisms ...

I think makers of show, now want to focus on the main track which is mayas obessision.. Its a finite show. And its not a love story.. If thy focus on giving us full both side thoughts and feelings and flashbacks, thn tll 200 episodes love story also wont be finished... Thn how will thy show real main concept pf show...for show to come on its main concept arjun and maya had to be together.

Logically speaking, as I mentioned in Shruti's thread too, the episode was a big let down, especially from the Saanjh parts.

If I had to find a way to justify Arjun's proposal, it would probably be this- he's always had a bit of a sub-conscious attraction towards Maya (she, in many ways, embodies what he wants to become- rich, beautiful, powerful et al).

Maya has bared a bit of her soul in front of him (the dialogues on the terrace and then yesterday on the boat- do you want to see me weak etc?). She's done a lot for him (his mother, Ayaan, promotion, first international flight and rescuing by putting her life in danger), and he feels it would be logical (or should that read obliged?) to return her love.




too feel he is mistaking gratitude for love ... Combined with the attraction... And he does feel obliged , the bad part is , relationships that start in this manner never



Sometimes I wonder if the Sony guys pushed for a trip to Mauritius to get some financial stuff arranged (the reputation of Mauritius as an FDI and the trip was done just DeMo ended and before the DTAA loophole was closed by Jaitley).
