Part 1
Its morning ..
Maya is busy making food in the kitchen. Nandini comes thereand looks whats cooking around and says “ aaj bhi dal hi khaana padega”
Maya looks at her and says “aaj salary aa jayegi chachi,kuch saaman le aungi”
Her aunt is irritated “ Ghar ka kiraya bhi dena hai.. patanahi yeh saari musibat humare sir se kab kam hogi”
Maya looks on sad “ koshish kar rahi hu mai chachi”
Her chachi gets angry “ Maine kaam pe lagaya tha na tujhe.. who karleti toh jyada kama sakti thi.. lekin nahi..tujhe uss library mein hi kaam karna hai. jahan 4 log nahi aate din bhar. dekhtu jo yeh writer wagera banne ka sapna dekh rahi hai na.. woh pura nahi honewala.. pehle tere baap ki wajah se humne bohot bure din dekhe hai.. ab teriwajah se nahi dekhna.”
Meera comes there just in and she is upset with her mom “maa subah subah kya le kar shuru ho jaate ho aap. di koshish kar rahi hai na..aapne padhai karne di hoti toh naukri kar leti na woh”
suddenly someone calls her aunt and she walks away.
Maya just hands over a lunch box to Meera and takes oneherself and walks away with a stern face.
Meera walks behind her and gives her a hug. “ Di please upset mat ho. u know maa kaisi hai. life hamesha ek jaisi nahi hoti. I am surejab aapki life mein koi special aayega na woh sab theek kar dega aur dekhnazindagi badal jayegi”.
Maya thinks of some painful flash backs of her past andmoves Meera away “ dekh tujhe mainepehle bhi kahan hai. mujhe iss sab bataon mein koi interest nahi hai.. yeh koifilm nahi hai.. na koi aayega na main aane dungi.. rishtey dard de sakte haiaur kuch nahi” she says with teary eyes and walks away with her bag..
Meera follows her and they both get into a bus and thenstart walking to the college. “ Di aapko pata hai aaj college mein kaun aa raha hai” she asks
Mays looks at her inquisitively
“ Rudra Roy from Ruan publications” she says excitedly. “aapko pata hai kitna handsome hai woh”
Maya is uninterested and starts walking towards the college library where she works
(Maya works in a college library. She couldn’t study much in her life but has spent her years reading in the library)
“ ok ok.. sorry but di it’s a good chance. Aapko apni bookke baare mein baat karne ka mauka hai uss se” she says in an excited tone andleaves
Maya goes into a library pantry and takes out her manuscript from her bag and thinks that it could be a chance today.

Rudra comes out of the bathroom shirtless with a towel tied and opens his cupboard to look for a shirt..
someone knocks the door. He picks up a shirt and says “ haan aa jao”.
It’s the servant with his coffee, he takes his coffee as hewears his shirt and he gets a call.
“ MJ chachu" he says
MJ is in his office and speaks back “ The new writer is in.He signed the contract already but he needs you to pick up his manuscript fromhim today along with the USB. We will be in huge business. this guy is big”
Rudra is happy and smiles “ Main le lunga chachu. waisemujhe arts college jaana hai for a small students lecture. I will pick it up onthe way”
“ Listen, aaj poori media aayegi and we will announce the new book publication to them in theafternoon. so be back on time” MJ exclaims
“ Yes chachu” he says and disconnects as he is dressing.
Rudra comes out of his room and to the living room and allare having breakfast. but noone really asks him. He just leaves from thereseeing them.

Rudra reaches the college. He gets down from the car leavingthe manuscript and USB in his car. He starts walking into the college.
an unknown man is watching him from a distance and slowlyfollows him.
Rudra reaches the enterance and gets greeted by theprincipal and taken to an auditorium.
The auditorium is full of students.
Maya heard the commotion and starts walking to theauditorium.
She can hear someone talking on the mike. but the room isvery crowded and she cant see the face of Rudra.
By the time she is able to see who is on the mike, it’s thecollege principal who is talking “ Thank you Mr. Rudra Roy for enlightening ourstudents” she says winding up. Maya tries to steer into the crowd to meet Rudrabut there are too many students. By the time she could get to him , he leaves.
She runs towards his car but he sits in it and drives off.
He is on the phone with MJ “ Main bas pohoch raha hu chachu”he says and drives fast to his office.
He parks his car and turns toward his passenger seat and isin disbelief.
The manuscript and the USB is missing. He gets worried andstarts looking around in the car.
He can see media in front of his office. He starts gettingcalls from MJ.
Maya is disheartened and starts walking back upset andsuddenly bumps into a man. He has a manuscript in his hand. She says sorry tohim and he runs away. She thinks its weird but steps on something. She seesthat it’s a USB which the guy probably dropped. She picks it up and looksaround for the guy but he is gone.
She takes it along.
Rudra walks towards the office to MJ and MJ asks him for themanuscript to show to media. Rudra looks ar him tensed. MJ senses somethingisn’t right.
Rudra tells him that he lost the manuscript and the USBslowly in his ears
“Kya” MJ asks in disbelief. He doesn’t know what to tellmedia now.
He decides to handle the media and tells them “ I am sorrybut abhi kuch kaam baaki hai book mein so we will do this press conferenceagain in a few days”
Rudra is pissed off and walks into the office and MJ follows“ kisi ne college mein chori kar li hogi” he says to himself
Suddenly Rudra gets a call “ Book aur USB chahiye toh 1crore ke saath milo aaj raat. address mil jayega” and the caller disconnects
Rudra is really angry. He tells MJ that he will go to thecops.
MJ tells him “ nahi aisa mat karo. we cant afford it to go into any wrong hands”
the news plays on tv “ Ruan publications have a big matterwith the new book. We have internal information that the manuscript is lost”
Rudra is shocked to hear and the writer starts calling MJ.
MJ shows him the incoming call and picks up and says “ nahi sir don’t belive the media. Yeh toh kuch bhi bolte hain. Aapka kaam humare paas safe hai”
he looks at Rudra and says “ paise de do Rudra” he says and leaves
MJ smirks and goes out and calls someone “ address de do” he says and leaves.
Rudra gets a message with a address and time to give the money.

Its night and Maya is sitting on her terrace and writing something in her manuscript. Its late and everyone asleep. she looks at the USB she had got and thinks whose it may be.
She looks around and sees a man down and she tries to look closely and she remembers that it was the same guy she had bumped into in the morning. She shouts “hey”.. he doesn’t hear.
she gets down from her stairs with the USB and her manuscript and runs after him. He runs into the temple and She reaches near the temple stairs and goes few stairs up and sees that the guy is gone. Suddenly someone is behind her.
She takes a step back and trips into Rudra who was standing right behind her. He holds her both roll and fall and they roll down the slope and finally stop. They both look into each others eyes. Maya’s forehead has a small cut and is bleeding due to the fall and few drops of blood drips on Rudra clothes. He holds her from her shoulder and slowly lifts her up. As they get up comes close to her and Maya feels uncomfortable. He looks into her eyes and she looks on. He moves his hand near her and grabs the USB. Suddenly Maya is shaken and looks at him as to why he snatched it. He snatches the manuscript from her hand forcibly and she loses her balance and falls to the ground. She sees cops around.
“ Arrest her” Rudra tells the cops.
Maya is in disbelief
