Like I said in other comment I have the bible here on my disk and I read in it many times I had courses about Christianty so I studied Christianty and know about the similarity and differences between Bible and Quraan

@Bold happening often. But of course every individual interprets and follows religion in their own way. So the key is to not interfere and respect everyone's way of living, even when it does not resonate with what you believe. To each his/her own. Coming to Zoya as someone put she is born in islam, but may be does not follow it religiously.
I was talking about my country and what is happening here. I don't know about India and that is why I asked my questions

yes, my point is that the essence of Christianity itself is believing in only one god. Hence you don't see Christians praying in Mosque in your country, or for that matter any country. So I went back and saw the episode, I think here the situation is an inter religion marriage. Realistically Zoya cannot sit out of the barsi, she obviously has to participate. My friend is a Christian who got married to an Hindu guy. The marriage happened according to Hindu customs and she still participates in all the customs in his household. But personally she follows her religion. Another of my Christian friend married a Sikh. They had a marriage in Gurdwara and another in Church, both of them personally follow their own religion but participates in customs of their spouses. In a country with a large population and many religions inter religion marriage is quite common here. India is a melting pot. We have a variety of culture, religion and languages, everything blending together as one, Indian. Its quite beautiful.

Forgive me for the late reply

I was not in my house yesterday and I didn't have my PC
And I really hate typing on mobile

Now

Thank you so much for your extra care to answer my questions although you dont follow the show but you watched the episode to answer me

Thank you so much my dear

Yes I can understand from all the replies I got here in this wonderful thread and this amazing discussion that India is really a unique country in that matter

What you there is not common in any other country

You see here if a Christian woman marry a Muslim man, she doesn't have to participate in any religious ritual. She doesn't pray Muslim salat or fast in Ramadan or do anything related to Islam as long as she is not a Muslim. Even her husband can't prevent her from her religious rituals

Maybe she doesn't eat in front of her husband and kids in Ramadan days or she can celebrate Eid but she doesn't pray Eid salat with her family

That is why it was all new for me

Thank you again my friend for your time and caring to answer me

But tell me now will you continue watching the show?
Because it is really good show and HC and JW are really doing good job in it

ok let me state the truth here. my birth religion is muslim and when i was a theist i did visit temples, churches, have attended pujas, aartis , eaten prasad. Its not only about respecting other religions as equal but also believing all gods as equal. Zoya is one of them. if you see she does know a lot about hinduism & Christianity
this is india not your country. here most people are progressive & people of all faith visit other faith religious places & believe in them also. And this is the beauty of india, which you wont understand.
it would be better if you stop watching indian shows living in another country if you do not understand the essence of india.

And all the rest of people it would be better if we do not respond to posts like these. not a single reply will suffice and close the matter

And festivals how can i forget that. we all celebrate all festivals here irrespective of religion. in fact diwali is my fav . even the atheists will celebrate all festivals together

I second u.we always respect all the religion and join all dd festivals but we can't ask help from them.if u will worship expect Allah then u r not muslim anymore. but its a drama and they show zoya is still offering namaz and doing poja which is unrealistic. and she wear wedding chain and sindoor which is also haram for a muslim girl.

This exactly what I believe in

Respecting other religions doesn't mean to believe the same beliefs they have

I guess enough has been discussed on this issue ..since its a sensitive topic when it comes to raising questions on religion ,so I will suggest everyone to avoid making topics on this subject & treat it like a fiction show ..If u still want to discuss this subject , then u can debate it in debate mansion forum as a standalone subject about hindu-muslim love stories shown in serials or films ..
