India is very touchy about that... (This is for your previous post in another thread when you had said how does it matter what Zoya wears... It is taken very much offensive in India )
Saying it or keeping to myself doesn't change the fact

Lol 😆. Righteous much.
Fact that we are sinners.😆.oh yes we are.thank God we all have good God's.

I love how religious people look at the log in other people's eyes and think they are sinless Allah's and Jesus's.

It matters to when it gets offensive and hurtful.

My dear
who said that I'm sinless
I'm a sinner

We all are
it is in human nature to do mistakes

I'm not a God or a prophet to say that I'm pure and can't do sin
It is not a big deal

We all do sins and the best in us who repent and regret their sins

I was skeptical of watching the show first because anything which touches religion is holy according to me... had a bad experience once (won't mention the show name lol) but I'm glad that Bepannaah didn't follow this path and they have showed us the exact opposite.
Me too but curiosity sometimes beats me to see how they will portray Muslims

I think Cv's have kept the balance really well and as a Muslim I found really touchy that Adi took part at Iftar or saying "Bismillah". This is how the world should be actually...respecting others despite their beliefs. That scene where Adi shows the blood of the Muslim boy and his own blood to the goons was meaningful...we are one in humanity.
Actually yes and that is one of the best quality I found in Bepannah they tried their hard to keep the balance between the two leads and their beliefs I really liked Ramdan track and when Adi had Iftar with Zoya and when he wore Muslim custom it was one of the best episodes for me

Actually I feel that what CV's want to show us through Adiya is the harmony that exists in India as it's a cosmopolitan country. I think that such marriages do exist as per reading few replies here and this is not seen as a big issue. Bepannah has set the standards quite high the whole concept is new and refreshing.
Yes I understood that from most of the replies here. thanks to Bepannaah that showed me the situation there

Try to avoid this aspect of the characters and enjoy the show as it goes because we won't get another Bepannaah, Adiya or Jenshad anytime soon.
You are right Jenshad and their talent is the main reason I stuck with that show

Take care
🤗
You too my lovely sister

Thank you so much for your lovely reply and your time to give me this worm comment

Zoya is a girl who believes in all relogion.

She is islamic but has fallen in love with a hindu boy.Now in Aditya's house they are celebrating navratri and Zoya being a part of the family also wants to celebrate. Its not out of compulsion or society but she actually likes it.I remember a scene where Zoya herself asks Yash to make her wear the mangalsutra as they just had a court marriage. She likes to celebrate all religions. Not only Zoya but Adi's family also celebrates all religions. They held Eid party.

And yeah its very common in India.People marry interfaith and also have friends interfaith. So they celebrate all festivals together. Many families have culture to call friends on the festival so people tend to celebrate all festivals and visiting religious places from all faiths is very common.

Thank you so much dear for your time to answer me

I can understand now that is common there in India but it is really new for me that is why I asked these questions

thanks again my dear

I know I can't follow every and each rule but I try my best to do

Just bcz people believe in the same religion, it doesn't mean that they follow it the same way. You can be Hindu and not be a vegetarian. There are MILLIONS of Sikhs in India that do not even wear the turban or keep a beard. Many people celebrate Christmas despite not being Christian. It is common to see Hindus and Muslims playing Holi together despite it being a Hindu Holiday. Many Hindus / Sikhs / Christians / etc. that I know have fasted during Ramadan despite not having any religious connection to it. As the generations are going forward, I have realized that people are beginning to become more liberal in the way they view religion.
I can understand that now. All your replies gave me a picture of the situation there in India thank you all

Bepannaah is just showing this liberal change in how people see religion. The Hooda's (aka the Hindu family) held an Eid party at THEIR house. Not the Siddiquis, the Hoodas. Bepannaah is just showing the newer view towards other religions. And intermarriage is NOT a new thing, there have been MILLIONS of instances in India where this has happened and still happens.
I didn't know that. I knew some Actors married to another religions partners but I didn't know that is the situation for the common Indian people

Being American, I know some Muslims that don't go to dargahs and go to church every Sunday and still read the Quran at home. My point is, just because Zoya is not like your typical Muslim, it doesn't mean that she is not a Muslim as everyone has a different interpretation of religion. I am also a child of parents who had an intermarriage and religion has NEVER been a problem in our family.
I know there are millions of Muslims around the world who don't follow Islam completely. Like it is forbidden in Islam to drink alcohol but there are some who drinks it. We can't expect from everyone to be the Ideal Muslim. We all make mistakes or like I call it we all sinners

Thank you so much my dear for your time and your efforts to answer me

It helped me a lot to understand the situation in India

Here in Egypt is really different
Muslims here are majority and Christian are minority

We live together and respect each others
sometimes Muslims enter Churches just attend weddings or funerals but nothing more
the same for the Christians

But no Muslims pray in church or Christian pray in Masjed
that is why it was strange for me to see Zoya doing so

Actually, I don't watch bepannaah, just came to this forum and saw your thread. I think holy texts in both Islam and Bible are quite similar and very particular in some aspects. Hence you don't see this @Bold happening often. But of course every individual interprets and follows religion in their own way. So the key is to not interfere and respect everyone's way of living, even when it does not resonate with what you believe. To each his/her own. Coming to Zoya as someone put she is born in islam, but may be does not follow it religiously.
