Chapter 5
"May I know why you've recommended ZoSh to your friend in MoEA?"
"Who told you this?"
"I have my sources. And irrespective of how I know this, what gave you the right to orchestrate this charade
"First of all, you watch your tone. I am your husband's father. So you have to be courteous if not respectful. Coming to your question, why did I do this? I did it because I want my son's future safeguarded. Knowing him, he'll invest his hard earned money in that sinking ship and have nothing left. I as a father, can't let that happen. The money I had given him, Pooja gave it away,.. "
Hearing this made Zoya uncomfortable as it reminded her of all Yash had done wrong. He had not only betrayed her but had also caused Aditya a huge loss both monetarily and personally. Pooja and Yash were in a relationship. It was their decision. But it had wrecked so many lives. It had hurt Zoya and Aditya and had also strained their relationship with their respective families.
"It hurts, doesn't it."
Zoya didn't respond and looked the other way.
"So my advice to you would be to take the offer and clear your debt. Spare yourself and Aditya any more embarrassment than required. I am saying this not only because Aditya is my son, but also because the faster you clear the debt the better it is. Don't you think?" saying this he went to his room.
In her room
Zoya kept thinking about what Mr Hooda said. She was angry when Sanya told her about his involvement in Zosh being offered the contract. But after their conversation she realised that what he did was not wrong. He was looking out for Aditya. It was his love and concern that made him do this. Otherwise, why is he bothered if the company runs or not. There was another thing that she realised, something that skipped her mind earlier. Aditya.
"Aditya has always looked out for me. He has stood by me. I cannot be the reason for his ruin. Not this time" Thinking of this made her happy. It gave her a purpose and motivation to resolve matters on hand.
She opened her laptop and decided to talk to Aditya.

Dear Aditya,
I hope this email finds you happy and well. How are you doing? How was your first day of flying? Were the skies happy to have you in their midst?
I am doing well and everyone at home is also fine. I few things have happened in this part of the world. I have received a call for an order for ZoSh. The clients seem eager to collaborate and are paying well. But there is one thing that is worrying me. It is a big order. It is a massive undertaking. Our company is small and I am doubtful of our capability to do it. Any advice?
I also met Sanya. She is our client's PA. She is nice and friendly and also likes cold weather. A total Bollywood buff. Truth be told, she seemed like your lost sister, minus the mischievous nature. I think you'd like her once you meet her. She reminded me of Noor, a calmer and wiser version of her.
There are a few rules that I want us to set:
1. You text me whenever you land and are about to take off.
2. We will always respond to calls/texts/emails, even if we have fought.
