After zoya tried to commit suicide mind you he tried very hard being nice and sympathetic to zoya, even brought office staff and acted all the way to make her comfortable.
In the end zoya was just running back to mussorie when Aditya had to provoke her to stay and pick herself up.

also if you all remember there was warm welcome to zoya in office also but she didn't even smiled. after all Aditya's efforts failed he had to do what he is doing. he may say its for his entertainment but he hasn't gone lowly as to trouble zoya for no reason. its the only thing that gives the feeling of her being normal.

This I agree with.

Zoya comes to life when provoked.

I definitely wanted her and Noor to talk about getting a place for themselves, as well as least for both Aditya and Zoya to talk about Zosh's name: the fact that it is hurtful to them personally but maybe needs to be kept on for brand identity reasons.

The Hindi serial watching public is not ready for a simple, nuanced storyline. They need OTT drama.

Ive said this in another post but they need to get it together and think about the tone of the show. Do they want the intense heartbreaking stuff like the suicide track? Or do they want this nonsense filler nok jhok stuff that is so typical of every couple on desi tv. I wanted some more grounded moments and some more serious moments after Zo's suicide attempt. I would love to see more subtle moments like the radio scene and the curfew episode where AdiYa truly bond in their pain and grief rather than aching like immature children trying to instigate each other
I don't mind Mahi falling for Adi, that one is ok and kinda understandable given the circumstances he saved her. But the whole Zoya being protective of Mahi thinking Adi is the terrible one when she herself has seen how heartless Mahi was (not letting her attend Yash's funeral) that bugs me to the core! I want more intensity and angst between AdiYa, so far this week they haven't even mentioned PoSh's affair or anything when Zoya literally tried to kill herself for him.

The scene where Aditya finds out she's going to Mussuroie and tries to stop her that's the kind of scene we need. Instead of the one we got yesterday about Adi flirting with Mahi and Zo being protective of her (not that I'm ever complaining about seeing a shirtless Harshad )

This week has been the absolute worst so far! Mahi's random crush makes no sense, Adi and Zoya not talking about the suicide attempt/Pooja-Yash affair makes no sense! Instead of discussing things, they are busy doing random nokjhoks that are beyond senseless at this juncture! The divorce and the suicide week were high points but the followup story has regressed to the point where I doubt it's the same show at all! There is no contextual basis for this week! Instead of going ahead with the office-closure track or showing Zoya/Adi bond, they're busy shoving all kinds of random things! This show honestly had no story or concept planned, they are just doing and changing things according to whims and fancies! Such an intense IPK3 dejavu for me! In IPK3 also, there was an intriguing premise planned, but the narrative changed without context every single week so it became impossible to connect to the characters! Now the BP CVs think that a random marriage will help ratings, so they're trying that! Instead of making Aditya and Zoya bond in a deeper level, they're gonna shove in a senseless marriage track now! They literally had no story planned, it's amazing how incompetent they are!

You're so right.

There needs to be continuityyes, tragic intensity needs to be released in a few laughs, but there has to be a connection. The radio scene, for instance, connected a few dots.

The CVs could have maintained a connection by keeping Zoya numb for a while longer: showing instead that she only comes to life to fight against Adi. They needed a deeper scene than the one we got with Madhu: more on how Zo is made to feel responsible for Mahi, and also a discussion between Zo and Madhu about the divorce papers and Zo's suicide.

Where the makers are going wrong is in rushing scenes. Once there's a tension-filled scene like the fight, we needed a slower, deeper scene of how the relationships around Zo are changing: the ones with Madhu, Adi, Mahi. Pacing is not about going fast all the time: give the audience time to bond with the characters don't just skim everywhere.

But this surface treatment is expected: plot, in compelling stories, is the product of characters. In Hindi serials, to stay within acceptable TRPs, they have to make characters the puppets of plot. This is why there's a disconnect with the audience: we're all wondering why characters are doing random things, without any plausible motive. It is because the makers need to make the plot deliver high drama: Indian audiences lap that up.

Mahi falling for Adi was so unnecessary. There was no need for her to have a reason as such for revenge cos she has enough reason to hold against Zoya and her hatred cud be enough to ruin whatever Zo loves including Adi (at some point)

Staying with Arora isn't so bad cos end of the day Zo still considers it her in laws place so her place cos they weren't divorced so she is still Yash's widow so she has every right to stay there.

Adi was supposed to be more sympathetic towards Zoya...annoying her and all is so out of context...wudve been nice if they showed them as friends and how they eventually fall for each other and fight out against the taboo's of the world.

Am also not hugely convinced with the current track

Kat

Somewhere deep down I agree with you

Mahi falling for Aditya was totally unneccesary, coz Mahi has enough venom within herself to start hating anyone. And its not that she was particulary found of Aditya plus she hates Zoya with vengeance...what is the real reason for such hatred is still unknown
The moment Aditya will support Zoya in this business drama, Mahi would automatically start hating Aditya as well, coz with Aditya supporting Zoya , all her plans would fall flat

I also don't think its such a big deal if Zoya stays at the Arora's , becoz technically the house the hers , although she doesn't know that yet
ZoSh were never divorced, she is Yash widow, so she can stay at her in-laws

And honestly speaking I cannot connect with this marriage track of Aditya and Zoya...or maybe I did not understand the Director well at the launch
I always thought that they will become friends first and then from there on they will move to the love phase slowly and thus their fight will begin against society and family AND suddenly...BAM !!!!
Marriage in our face !!!!
I really wonder how Waseem is going to react this time around with Zoya getting married for the 2nd time without his approval I guess

They better come up with a very solid reason why they jump to this marriage without the friendship phase and it better NOT be to save ZoSh

The main reason I want Zoya to get the hell out of there is so that she can break out of Mahi's manipulation. That's my only gripe with her living there. The longer she stays there, the more ~grateful she's going to be to Mahi, the worse the heartbreak.
And we should keep our expectations as low as possible with regards to their reasoning behind the sudden marriage. It'll most likely be to save ZoSh i.e., something stupid.

Scattered writing makes it look like a teenage love story. Don't know if it is TRP pressure or something else but it seems this PH once again lied when they said there is a story in place, same as they did in Beyhadh.

The radio scene was the only highlight of the week TBH. Rest of the AdiYa scenes, as cute as they were were OOC for me given the circumstances. You're so right about Zoya being numb longer. Her entire world revolved around Yash and she got over his in a day and a half? We didn't even see a Noor-Zoya scene where Noor asked her about her well being, I love seeing Aditya wanting to care for her but Noor is her sister! She needs to be more involved in making sure Zoya is ok, a suicide attempt is no small thing, it's a huge traumatizing event for everyone involved with the victim. I didn't expect much from Mahi but Madhu and Noor were genuinely concerned for Zoya. I wanted to see Madhu caring for Zoya as well and making sure she was ok.

Another thing is them not figuring out PoSh's divorce drama or affair, like they literally just found out that their spouses were about to divorce from them and none of them give a flying f about it like W*F, Zoya was ready to end her life for that loser Yash, and she doesn't even want to find out why. I liked that she was trying to pursue Ashish, she can find more leads and more contacts for Yash and figure out that way.

The story is so haywire it's laughable🤢 like W*F they're wasting Harshad-Jennifer's talent and chemistry by showing us nonsense like this and then trying to pander to us shippers by getting us excited for this so-called shaadi like it makes no effing sense of them to get married right now
