EMA - the CVs are playing it safe

Hola guys,
Today's epi was interesting esp. that monologue of Pooja.

Pooja makes a case for her EMA (well subtly) by talking of how she felt with Yash and thats something she never felt with Adi and calls her relationship with Adi just dosti.. she further shows her 'magnanimity' by saying that hope Adi too finds love.. presuming ofcourse that Adi too didnt feel love for Pooja..

Here is my thing - its the safer route to take.. that the couple were never in love to begin with and thats why they fell for another.. Its a simpler construct to deal with..
It avoids all the complexities that come with... yes we were in love.. but somewhere we fell out of it and then fell in love with someone else again..

This easy way, atleast the way I see it, comes from the BS that has been fed into us for eons... that saccha pyar bas zindagi mein ek hi baar ho sakta hai.. etc etc.. this whole premise negates falling in love multiple times with different people.. break ups happen and people move on na.. its not as if they loved any one partner any less.. and people fall in love with different people for different reasons each time..
Please note that am not talking of two timing here..or of falling in love with multiple people at the same time.. Am talking of falling in love at different points in time..

Why should the CVs reduce Aditya and Pooja's marriage to a loveless one and one that is only based on friendship.. I think coz its simpler to convince people and the audience of reasons now when Adi and Zo fall in love.. coz otherwise audience will be like.. this is not done.. how can people fall in love again..

It goes against the premise where in bepanah they began with finding second chances in love.. abh toh they are making it as if they all are fallin in love for the first time..

Thoughts?

Pooja's reasons could be true.. that she may have never felt the spark with Adi..

My point was at a story level.. like lets say something like kabhi Alvida Na kehna..where Rani and Abhishek// Maya never loved Rishi.. for her it was more of an obligation..

Whereas SRK and Preity.. Dev and Diya (i think).. they were in love.. or had been.. and then they fell out of love when egos and insecurities crept in..

Agree.. this show has parallels with KANK the movie.. Aditya being the character player by Abhishek Bachhan and Pooja Hooda being Rani Mukherjee.. Much like Rani, Puja wanted a mature relationship where two people wil be equals and not one baby sitting the other.. Both Abhishek in the movie and Aditya in the show, were loveable and devoted to their wives but somehow couldn't meet the expectations of their respective wives.. in aditya's case, as shown in few FB's he took Puja for granted to the point where he had become oblivious to her needs and desires.. not remembering her bday, not accompanying her to her favourite concerts when she was always there for him.. these things keep building over time till one snaps.. she could have been more vocal with her complains to sort these things out.. instead of sulking and being ice cold.. but that would'v just Adi do stuff.. not make him a different person altogether.. someone she pictured as her soulmate.. Adi was always her bff who she would care for and protect.. but soulmate? That he wasn't... I wish she had figured out all this before going for a huge commitment like marriage.. but that's how we are.. humans make mistakes.. puja also did.. As far as Yash Zoya are conerned, I am not very sure about what made Yash fall out of love with Zoya.. unlike Puja, he never spoke about what bothers him personally professionally.. always kept her in illusion of a perfect world..

In the last flashback scenes, they showed how Yash Pooja met. Today, they jumped to Pooja's feelings for Yash.
When this show's concept is two people falling in love with each other in spite of being in a 'perfect marriage', shouldn't they have shown how and why Yash and Pooja fell in love with each other? Those scenes would have been so much better than nonsensical ZoSh scenes at least.

I felt kinda dissatisfied with Pooja's scene today.

Yes Misty.. this indeed has parallels with KANK.. not at just the premise of infidelity..

We all harp about communication communication.. but if u ask me that itself belies the fundamental notion of 'love' as we are led to believe..
Its an interesting crossroad and an unfortunate one.. all which comes from the falsified notion of love and surreal expectations that accompany it..

Love means well atleast as we have been fed, that somebody just realises your presence with the breeze.. they know all ur deepest desires without u even blinking ur eye.. yahi hai saccha pyar is the construct of love..

Now, cut to reality... this BS of course doesnt happen and that doesnt mean there is no love.. but hey they say go and communicate.. go and tell ur husband what u want and how u want it to be.. but unfortunately the moment the communicate bit comes in, we start questioning... hey he doesnt love me.. why should I have to really speak out my expectations.. if he loved me,, he would know...

U see the problem here? Both of it is so at contrast with each other.. therefore its never easy for us to say what is right or wrong.. Pooja could have gone through all these emotions.. again we have seen Adi treat Pooja more like the baskettball playing tomboy Anjali of KKHH.. she might have missed him treating her more femininely if u know what i mean..

As for yash, his story is a black box.. lets see what comes out

Is this really abt 2nd chances now ???
Marriage btwn Aditya and Pooja was based on friendship now ???? Does that mean they were never in love and is that the reason why Aditya behaved like a lunatic after losing Pooja...I just don't buy this crap.
Maybe for Pooja it was friendship, but I dont think for Aditya., unless both of them termed friendship as pyaar. And if Pooja felt only dosti for Aditya, why did she want Junoon waala pyaar from him ???? Then she knew she should hv not expected anything from this marriage then friendship
And why didn't she tell Aditya straight away that she felt only friendship for him and wanted a divorce

So Pooja felt only friendship for Aditya and I think Yash married Zoya for the money, becoz Zoya's dad
