Aditya was a romantic person and enjoys the romance part in the relationship. It can be noticed in the few flashbacks which were shown from Aditya's point of view.
The first episode wherein he tries to get close to Pooja, but she seems disinterested, then there is a flashback in which she is sitting on his lap and singing the song (he is wearied a white short, I think), the flashback where he gives her those 5 crores and asks for the checkbook..
Also the outing one.. Maybe he isn't that intense romantic person that she wanted as a husband, but Aditya was a romantic person with his sense of humour supporting his feeling of love..
In fact he does remember those soft moments between them that they shared as a husband and wife along with those that they shared as being friends.
In today's episode when he imagined Pooja and held Zoya's hand singing the song, I doubt if Pooja (if she was really there) would have been able to resist him.. He was just too tempting at that moment..
I am rambling here.. But the only thing that I wanted to say was Aditya was not as passionless as Pooja has written in her diary..
