Rooj
Starts off where it left off, Zain asking for forgiveness and asking Aliya to forget and listen to him but Aliya gets up to leave and Zain holds her hand, she slaps him and we have staring contest (angry kind).
Aliya walks away from him and starts crying, while Zain looks after her standing sadly, while Pyar hai yaa saza song plays in the background (I love this song, always brings me to tears...such an emotional scene. A must watch! Both emoted to the T!!!). Zain follows her to console her. He comes and hold her as both cry (ok sometimes I think they stretch scenes for too long with songs...but at least we get to see the superb acting!) Aliya asks him if he thinks he can win her by doing all this kid's behavior. She tells him that everything, marriage and talaq was all a joke to him and all this is a drama for him. She says how can she forgive him just like that? He gave her talaq all three times by insulting her in front of everyone, even after the 2 talaqs she tried to forget it and ask him to not give her talaq but he still went ahead with it (all the flashbacks are shown...). She goes on to say that he left her that night when she needed him the most at that hotel but he was only concerned about himself and not others because to him only his wounds are wounds and it is all about him and he didn't see her wounds so why should she forgive him (you go girl! Superb Aliya! I agree with her 100% Zain would have to work hard to get her back this time around and Aliya, you better not make it that easy!).
Zain says that she would have to forgive him because she has to. He agrees that he did the biggest mistake in his life and for that he is asking forgiveness. He is ready to take all the wounds that he gave her, he is asking for one chance to prove it. He says that he is already living with the consequences of his mistake by losing her. He is ready to take any punishment she gives him. He is ready to do anything she wants him to do, he promises. Aliya says that making promises are his old habits, she asks him if he is ready to do anything? He says yes.
Aliya comes to him and says the following (do not miss the dialogues!): by giving me first talaq, you broke my trust. By giving me second talaq, you insulted (zaleel) me in front of everyone. And by giving me third talaq, you took away all my hopes. For the three talaqs, you will have to overcome 3 challenges. Now you fulfill your promises and then I will forgive you. Your challenge starts from now!
Aliya leaves and Zain smiles.
Change of Venue to hotel room:
Suraiya, Bilal, and Zarina. Suraiya complains how Zain hasn't come yet and haven't called yet. She confirms with Bilal if he really did put the mice in the Dhaba. He says yes. Zarina tells her not to worry and call the food inspector to find out. She does and finds out that Zain and Aliya were romancing instead. Zarina puts more salt on the wound and Bilal adds to it (he is def. a namoona). Suraiya says that she will do something that will destroy that whole family.
Morning (back to dhaba):
Aliya walks in talking to Zara, telling her that she will come to see her drawing and wishes her. She sees Zain sleeping on the floor in the dhaba and ask the assistant if the kitchen is a place to sleep. Zain hears and wake up (he lost the dari) and looks at her. Mosquitoes start bothering him, he gets up and wishes her morning. She leaves from there and scene changes to Aliya scolding her employees that not to take his side. They leave and Zain walks in talking to chacha with a suggestion of putting hari mirch in suji sheera instead of something else (I didn't get that...). Aliya looks at him. Chacha laughs at him and explain to him the ABCs of cooking. Basically telling how you have to keep the taste separate rather than mixing them (like sweet vs. sour). Aliya listens and Zain understands and sips the tea very loudly and state that why is she taking out her anger out on others rather than him. Aliya sips the tea loudly too and asks him if he is ready for his challenge or not. Zain gives it back stating that only she is delaying to go home with him. Aliya calls over Sarju and asks him to give all the veggies to be cut by Zain. Zain smiles and gets up and takes the challenge by stating to give twice as much veggies as was originally instructed to him. He then sips his tea loudly again (ok I find this gesture stupid but hilarious...jaan buj ke kya unsophisticated ban raha hai?). She looks on. Zain goes to the kitchen.
Zain in the Kitchen with the Veggies starting to cut them, while the employees help him from afar on how to cut them ( you have to watch this scene to actually see the hilarity of it rather than reading about it! A must watch!). So he goes on and he starts to get tired, while doing the work. Aliya walks by and sees him when he is crying because of Onion.
Change to Barkat family with Rehan:
Rehan asks Suraiya that she wants Aliya to put her dhabba under Fahad's name for money, the one she built and bought with her mehnat. Rehan says that he will not let that happen. Fahad says that it is not about money or such but why is he willing to forget their relationship with them. Fahad states that laws are not made with relationships in mind and gets up to leave. Suraiyya says that she is unable to understand what has Aliya done to her son and to Rehan. Rehan takes his leave by saying Allah Hafiz. Suraiya asks Fahad to come with her because she needs to speak to him alone. Zarina wonders what it is that Suraiya can't say to Fahad in front of her.
Change back to Kitchen:
Zain having fun while working. Aliya comes and sees him crying while cutting onion. Zain states that he has done majority of it and says that he will do the rest. Aliya requests Sarju to bring the black cloth and she ties his eyes with it and then tells him to cut the veggies like that (oh man she is heartless. She is strong man, I wouldn't do that if I loved my husband). Zain starts cutting, Sarju tells him to be careful and Zain assures that Aliya won't let the knife cut his hand. But of course he cuts it. Aliya requests sarju to take Zain out and that they will both go out on a date. Zain smiles and goes with Sarju while Aliya thinks to herself that he is very confident and trusts her well today he will learn what happens when trust breaks and that will be his first exam.
Precap: Zarina bumps with Rehan Chacha and his eggs break. She looks at him and he at her and seems to recognize her (def. married). She hides her face and walks away, he calls after her. Scene changes to Zain and Aliya in the pool (it seems Aliya saves him or something because Zain is still blind).
