Divya, my observation with BI is that for many important sequences makers simply rushed the story without letting it create it's impact. And Barkat winding up is the fresh example.
Either the makers have very good plans to carry forward BI or are just on the way to jinx it.

Pari, I remember pointing this out in one of the controversial thread but felt neither the TM or the people responding there realised this fact. People don't understand that if makers claim Islamic backdrop as the USP of the show then they cannot manipulate cultural differences to their advantage. There has to be some consistency.

@bold: Exactly. Infact the show started on the same note of misunderstanding her relationship with Zain. I am really surprised that how could the character of Aaliya, who is mature and responsible, fail when it comes to Zubbu. The whole blame goes to writer for goofing up with cultural traits and characterization of Aaliya.

Nels , Pari same thoughts on that.. I posted the same in gagans thread yest and day before on the aliya zubbu stuff..
I'm myself a todays generation girl and so are you, i do have loads of cousins, but IMO in my in-laws place i wouldn behave this way with my cousin. I would have rather liked had Aliya reprimanded him or asked him to be not so touchy feely as she is in her in laws and is married now and the quaraan khani scene was insensitive from both the parties..

I honestly do not blame Suraiya for what she saw and understood yesterday,, The writers did mess up with Aliya here, im glad that her husband has no issues with it, im just stating my personal opinion on this, just to show suraiya doubt them this isnt the way they go on take creative liberties.. Certain things that they showed could have been easily avoided!

@bold: BINGO on that..
I couldn believe the editing glitches that they made on Barkat exposure day, no proper continuity, it was like i have allotted 5 mins for this whole scene, wind it up within then, this is such a major track and ppl have been waiting to see how she will be exposed and sent out.. I did point to the makers on this stuff, dont think they care about all these anymore😕

p.s: Nels, did u get to read fahad's lines while barkat was being ousted?? Vivek had tweeted that i suppose, such good lines and they edited it all???

I just hope they have a good plan to carry forward BI story. I love this show Nels😳.
It has such good star cast and also well woven characters, hope they know what they are doing.

@Nels,Pari, Divya, Shiyya I totally agree with you all!

Honestly, Even I don't like how the CVs use the cultural difference to their benefits!
The recent Zubbu-Aloo track has a D-E-J-A-V-U effect on me! It was precisely this track from which Beintehaa started off! Zeeshan's & his family doubting Zain and Aliya! The same is now the case with Suraiyya. She doubts Aliya of having an affair with Zubair! Honestly, the eye sees what it wants to see! Just like Zain coming close to Aliya made it look suspicious to Zeeshan & his mom; the same is happening with Suraiyya! And honestly she can't be blamed! Atleast not when how she has spotted Aliya and Zubbu so many times! esp. the Quran khani episode! I didn't quite get it! Why was there such an immature depiction of Zubbu-Aloo relationship? Being Badi phoofi's beta I assume he is older than both Zain and Aliya! There should be atleast a certain level of maturity in him! I still don't know why on earth did he go up to Aliya or why was he so keenly stealing glances of her during the Quran khani! Zain being her husband who can't read the Quran never went up to her to ask her to read on his behalf then why on earth did Zubbu? Was it really a mature "brotherly" (if that's what the CVs want the general audience to think, to justify Aliya-Zubbu's relationship) way to behave? No matter how unattached you are to the deceased, you are supposed to maintain a certain decorum at a mourning and I did not see that happen! I was honestly disappointed at the way Aliya was portrayed by the CVs in Quran Khani because she had so far always been this mature girl who is well versed with her duties! Well, from Zubbu I never had any good expectations in the first place as from the very beginning he has been this utterly immature & overtly touchy guy( Barring his one dialogue to Zain in the party that he doesn't need Zubbu's permission to speak to his wife)

Even yesterday in the party I did not find the hug/ the cupping of the face logical at all! It seemed all misplaced! It looked like the CVs have included all those touchy feely moments only for the heck of it, so Suraiyya could doubt Aliya!

About the rushing tracks part! Well BI CVs have this habit! Yes, I will be honest I too was irked by this Bakbak track altogether but jahan itna jhela wahan ek logical ending to banti thi! I am also left with a lot of questions about the track!

Also, in one of my posts I did write that the moving on part was a bit too swift! I agree for the rest of the family it would be a lot easier since they don't really have even memories of Barkat! But for Maamu & even Maami for that matter the transition was swift!

What we are headed towards from here on, is a plain track of saasu doubting bahu, there would be unpredictable twists and turns as it is Beintehaa but the crux will definitely be this! I don't know what to expect so I will just wait and watch!

@TM welcome to the forum & I respect your POV But the story is about ZaYa and I watch it for them! the show is about Love and Romance & I enjoy every bit of them on my TV screen!

Hi
I am happy and thank you for replying I wanted to know everyone thoughts and appreciate and forgive me if i have offended any of you it just i was frustrated and expected the barkat track to end on good note with all lose holes covered which they had not last week.

As for anyone who doesn't agree with me everyone has their opinion but I am sure you know if I am saying all this i have humongous expectations from the show because when it started it started off so well from the first episode. Also writers balanced everything it wasn't just zaya romance we got to see so many characters story running parallel but after point writers only concentrate on zaya. I am sure everyone wants to see their chemistry but they don't have to sideline important characters lie aayat, rizwan or aaliya mom or dad. In the beginning it was very good because we got to see so much of each character and personally i think if there is equal focus actors can give their best as all pressure is not on main leads😊

For me beintehaa is not daily soup, its like a film i watch from the scale it has been shot. Even i am interested in zaya relationship but i wanted to zain to unravel the truth of barkat and question this with aaliya rather than talk about love romance and all. Time dekhna chahiye and even zain is affected because the graveyard scene last week when he saw his sister grave he was so hurt and then his confrontation with barkat was awesome. He was most hurt so I didnt expect him to get over it so soon

ek week tak barkat ka track dikhateye and wrapped it up nicely. I feel they did not utlilise new entry properly we didnt want to see her evil plans rather they should have focused on usman abdullah and mir khan's enemity which was left unexplained and what was bobby plan with mir in first place with flashbacks and lastly how barkat died. I am saying this because this barkat track was so hyped from past 3 months that it needed a logical end otherwise i dont notice little bloppers in story because at the end of day I want entertainment.😃. Also with the truth being revealed it should have been done long time ago and when it was getting good they wrapped it 1 episode which is really irritating.

I'm glad there r atleast few people who think that this Zubbu - Aloo thing was weird.. I had made a topic on this, after watching that prayer episode. But nobody really bothered,so I thought,I'm the odd one out here 😆

I really dont blame Suraiya, more so after watching today's episode where she saw Zubbu n Aloo on the bed.. I am glad Zain is with Aliya, but that doesn't make the wrong thing right.

Be it a woman or a man, they are supposed to behave in a proper way, more so after marriage..
May be I'm regressive, but thats my POV 😕

@bold: I don't think I can say this anymore. Except for a positive and understanding husband in form of Zain, other characters are botched up. And I don't know how long Zain will survive.
