when laakhan n poonam's relationship broke.poonam was free n she started liking priyom but priyom always treated her as friend that time n laakhan was adamant to get poonam back in his life as hes like deewana type.laakhan vows to destroy whole begusarai if poonam doesnt return back to him so to stop him phulan thakur declared priyom-poonam marriage.priyom even that time didnt love poonam.he was a casanova type.later when things still were not in control poonam decided to go back to laakhan n marry him as only she could stop him.when poonam went to laakhan then priyom started feeling for poonam he even proposed her on her first weddint night but poonam rejected him saying shes now married n have no feelings for him.btw,before going back to laakhan she got to know priyom doesnt love her so it was easy for her to go back.but shade k baad poonam got a gem of a person in laakhan he was not negative,he was an angry young man.

he wasnt they showed it later that since childhood he was too much in love with poonam.pagal tha poonam k liye plus he doesnt have any brain so his possesiveness came out as anger towards her as he was inexpressive too..poonam never understood his love,only saw his anger n got scared.when she came to know real laakhan she started loving him n laakhan started reducing his anger.
