Upon hearing Rekha calling out to Laakhan, Poonam came out of her flashback and realized everybody would now ask her about Laakhan's whereabouts. Pretending to be engrossed in her work she started putting the ribbons on the wall and exactly happened as she expected. Rekha came up to Poonam and asked about Laakhan. Poonam had no answer, she didn't know what to say. She was building words in her mouth to respond, before she could say anything Rekha's phone rang and to Poonam's surprise it was Laakhan on the other line. Rekha moved away from Poonam and Poonam like a little puppy followed Rekha to get an idea of where she would be able to find her husband. Laakhan didn't leave. He was at his theka. Tears rolled down Poonam's eyes, she now knew Laakhan was accessible, but how? How was she going to get there? What was she going to say to him? Would he listen to her? questions were ringing in her mind when Maya bhabhi said to Hariya they would need more flowers for the Pooja. An idea struck Poonam's mind, she tagged along with Hariya to get the flowers. After getting the flowers she sent him home and said she would return herself. As soon as Hariya left, Poonam ran, she ran like she had never ran before. She ran like she would never be able to run hereafter. Exhausted and panting she finally reached the theka. She didn't have the courage to step inside the door, but she knew she had no other choice. If she didn't take that step today she would lose her husband forever. The husband she had started loving like never before. Gathering all the courage she could, she stepped in the door and saw Laakhan. He looked tired and weary, his head lying on the table, a bottle of alcohol half empty, and his gun were right beside his head, Poonam was facing his back.
She walked up to him and ran her fingers through his hair, he quickly lifted his head and grabbed his gun, and upon turning back he saw Poonam standing there. The same Poonam he thought he would never be able to see, the same Poonam he thought he would never be able to love. Although he had no expectations in his heart, his eyes lit up as soon as he saw her. He didn't want to show it, so he turned back again keeping the gun on the table. Poonam yet again facing his back had a lump in her throat, though now she had clearly made up her mind with what she was going to say. The words wouldn't come out of her mouth. Breaking the silence Laakhan asked what brought her there. She said him. Laakhan stunned, turned back. Poonam and Laakhan both facing each other. Poonam looked right into his eyes and she decided that now she would never let him go. Poonam with a shaky voice asked him why he didn't leave. Laakhan wanted to say out loud because he can never go away from her, because he wants to say so much to her, love her like no one has ever loved anyone. He knew he couldn't say that so he said he would leave in a while. Poonam says she knows he's lying. He didn't leave because he can never leave her and go away. Laakhan was stunned to see how Poonam exactly knew what was going through his heart. What Poonam said next was probably the most surprising thing Laakhan had ever heard from his wife. She said she doesn't want him to leave. She said she wants him to stay with her forever. She knew she made a mistake, but all she needed was one chance. Laakhan unable to believe his ears didn't know what to say. Poonam said she loves him, Laakhan stood there as if the earth had been taken away from under his feet, he couldn't balance himself, he was happy, he was delighted but then those words of Poonam calling her a murderer rang through his mind. He took two steps back and said she doesn't love him. He said she was just guilty of what she did, He knew that she didn't have those feelings for him. She was just trying to make up for her mistake. Poonam completely shattered with the words she was listening. She didn't think it would've been so difficult. She never imagined Laakhan would not believe her love. She was saying it with all her heart, the honesty in her words could be sensed but Laakhan didn't want to take any chances. He didn't want her not trusting him again, because that would have killed him inside out. Laakhan said she doesn't trust him and her trust on him is more important than her love. Poonam literally begged him to believe. Laakhan turned his back towards her and took two steps further. He said it'll be better if she leaves as everyone would be waiting for her at home. Poonam had decided that she wouldn't walk out of this theka without Laakhan's hand in hers. Not knowing what to do she grabbed the gun from his table and loaded it, listening to the sound Laakhan turned shocked to see Poonam standing with the gun on her head. Laakhan ran towards her and asked her to let go of the gun, she put her finger on the trigger making Laakhan move back. She said if he believes her love or not? Laakhan kept asking her to stop the act, Poonam said she wouldn't take any time in pulling the trigger. She said these might be her last words but she wants to say them and nobody lies on their death bed. She said she had never trusted him, She never thought she would be able to lead a happy life with him. She never even imagined that she would fall in love with him. But all that happened, and happened so suddenly that she had no time to decipher her feelings. She said she doesn't want to live a life without him, and if he doesn't trust her, there's no meaning to her living. Laakhan was just standing there listening to her, tears in his eyes.
Poonam closed her eyes and pulled the trigger only to realize she had fired in the air. Laakhan moved her arm right in time, He took the gun from her hand and threw it away. Poonam was just standing there crying. Laakhan took her into his arms. So tightly that there was no space for anything in between them. He said that he trusts her and he loves her more than his life. Laakhan breaking the hug took her face in her hands and Poonam got on her toes to kiss him. She kissed him on his lips. So deep that Laakhan was still not able to understand what was going around him. Her fingers running through his hair, he gave in and held her from her waist. It was the most beautiful moment both had ever experienced in their life. After a minute and a half Poonam landed on her feet, opened her eyes and smiled at Laakhan. Laakhan still able to taste the sweetness of her lips was in a different world altogether. Poonam held his hand and said a new chapter now begins, where there would only be love and nothing else will matter. Laakhan asked if she was sure. Poonam replied with a nod, she wiped a tear that was half in his eyes and said she doesn't want to ever see them in his eyes again. Laakhan had the biggest smile on his face. He said he could live his entire life with this moment. Poonam said he wouldn't have to, because this my husband was just the beginning!!
