I was actually surprised by yesterday's episode. Looks like there will now be a double MU. I don't know if Priyom actually read the letter but he does know Poonam didn't want to tie him down on purpose. Poonam on the other hand is completely aloof as to what is going on and why.

Whatever happens I don't want Lakhan and Poonam to get married. That's wrong on all levels, she doesn't deserve that and marriage isn't a joke.

So this new spoiler (if true) explains why Poonam's expression was so stern while she was hugging Priyom in the promo. Creatives have already made fun of marriage once and they are in the process of doing the same again. Simply abominable !!! In case they have wanted to portray Poonam hitching up with Lakhan only from the very beginning, then what was the need for portraying his character as that of a nonredeemable psychopath's !!!! Personally, I didn't start with this series to watch this type of cliched and downright immoral craps, instead had mistakenly expected something logical, truly intelligent & indigenous for a change !!

@SaJanLuv14 (What's your name?), I agree that this marriage fiasco (I doubt whether it would culminate into a real one) is definitely going to sour Priyom/Poonam friendship. Going by Priyom's characteristics & tantrums, it's uncertain whether Priyom would ever really fall for Poonam. Irritatingly, creatives are portraying him such a confused character on each passing episode. Instead of putting the gun on Poonam's shoulder & firing; why can't he, at least, give a try to directly go and say a "NO" to the elders !!! As per the precap, Lakhan gets to know that Poonam is following Priyom and is planning to kidnap her. So, anyway, Poonam is going to be the free-of-cost sacrificial lamb in this idiotic ego-war between the cousins. I know it's a wishful thinking, but it's high time that she comes out of her confused, dukhiyari, mahaan (tyag karnewaali) ablaa naari avatar to stand on her own vertebra, combat these two and force everyone to realize that girls are neither commodities nor slaves !!!

Anyways, last but not the least, the chemistry !!!!! One or two sparks really won't do if these two are indeed the lead pair...

I'm not enjoying how Priyom has been acting right now either. Like you mentioned, he's so confused as to what he wants, and though that's normal, the way CVs aren't portraying his transition properly. I want Priyom and Poonam to be a powerhouse couple but day by day I'm seeing less and less of that happening. As for Guddi, the debate can go on forever but I will settle that her intentions weren't wrong for both Poonam and Priyom. I'm loving her character and the biggest twist for this show for me is that PT will make Guddi the next heir. Now that would be something.

I just don't want PT's character to end so soon. I'm worried with this whole kidnapping track that we may lose a sane character like PT so soon.

As for the chemistry, now I'm seeing it come and go, they're a lot better at dramatic scenes than they are with the nok-jok. When they have a nok-jok I can't bring myself to take them too seriously. I hope that changes and a deeper layer goes on fire with their relationship.

Also Poonam's brother needs to grow a bone too, I don't like how he's going around as Lakhan's chamcha. How can he process his sister being happy and safe with someone like Lakhan?

Yes, PT is definitely the tiger, who acts like a donkey w.r.t. matters related to Bindiya !!! I am really impressed with Guddi.

He can't be redeemed from any angle or through anyone. Redemption is your own effort. Maybe you can find solace with someone while going through the whole withdrawal process but I just don't see that with Lakhan. If anything the only way he might be redeemable is by calming a hot headed person like himself.

I'm enjoying Guddi more day by day, and I really want her to catch Bindiya. A showdown between Poonam, Guddi, Maya and Bindiya would be interesting 😉

Love stories and all are great for this show but what they really need to show is equality and a common ground for both men and women.

Hey, I'm Chandrima 😃 ...

For me, Guddi is THE dark-horse of this series. On many-a-occasions she behaves like an exact replica of her father. But going by the absurd and illogical tracks being introduced by the creatives one after another, I am loosing hope of anything out-of-the-box from these people.

Lakhan/Poonam marriage is a strict no-no for me (since, for me personally absolutely nothing can, by any whatsoever mean, redeem this character) and PT's death as well. Even though PT is being forced to act like an idiot w.r.t. matters related to Bindiya, but he is one of the most well-sketched and sane characters of this series. And above all this character is being brilliantly portrayed on each and every occasion.

Dolte to bhai ke naam pe ek kaala dhabba hai ...

This reminds of some things Ejaz Khan (actor) said in his recent article on IF, which I think everyone should think about.

There used to be amazing content on television, I remember Buniyaad, Humlog, Byomkesh Bakshi. Gone are those days when importance was given to the scripts and stories, what happened gradually was that because of the ratings we started not having integrity towards the story. Stories are being manipulated by the public response of the week, due to this some shows became more popular than the good ones. I feel popularity of a show doesn't mean that it is a good show. There are some producers who are trying to bring strong concept based shows and I am trying to be a part of such content.

Though I believe TV has improved since back in the day (being with the family, I saw too much EK and I think since then her shows have somewhat improved.) but he has a point.

But the issue isn't just the ratings. The PH, channel and marketers are targeting a larger audience and creating concepts for a specific audiences like us who thoroughly enjoy an intellectual story. This is happening in films in all industries as well. The PH, channel and marketers needs to reanalyze who they're exactly targeting and see exactly from the group they're targeting how many are actually watching the show. Now those are real ratings.

In the initial promos of the show they projected Bindya will be the cause for the rift between the thakurs .But CV's took a 360 degree turn and made this story like EK story.Were sisters fought for same men.Now in this show brother will fight for same girl.

It seems I'm the only one who hasn't seen this new promo? Where's the link, now I'm really curious.

I'm one those that enjoys a love story in an action show 😆 But I'm not asking for nok jok, I actually want a mature and deep relationship between Priyom and Poonam. I want both Priyom and Poonam to grow in fire and see them protect the ones they love. They should be a powerhouse couple.

When Poonam came to save Priyom I expected her to be on fire against Lakhan after all Priyom is the man she loves right? I wanted her to spite fire but even then she was "Please don't hurt him! 😭"

The day she was about to get married to Lakhan the darts she threw on her mother, she should have directed those to Lakhan, PT and all of Begusarai. After giving her mom the lecture, she shouldn't have sat in the mandap, that defeats the whole process.

I know it's a wishful thinking, but hope that the creatives would spare us from such illogical, absurd and immoral plots.

@VIMAL.M, agree regarding that EK's famous two-sisters-one-guy concept. Here they have two-brothers-one-girl. The differences are (as of now) that both the guys are disgusting and none of them respect or love the girl.

P.S. The new promo highlights Lakhan's over-used & now-irritating dhamkis and Priyom abandoning Poonam. As usual, I could not understand Poonam's confused reaction.

I don't get it either. When was this promo aired?

I want to see Maya grow out of her relationship, she deserves a completely new partner.
