It's really hard to understand why the creatives are so hell-bent on marrying Poonam off to one of the worthless Thakur brothers at this very tender age. It's better that she either flees or successfully attempts a suicide in order to save herself from such extreme torture. Seems the creatives of this series, as well, have that disgusting mentality that the sole purpose of any girl's life is to become an obedient, silent, all-enduring, all-sacrificing, breakfast-lunch-dinner-snacks-frequent-tea-preparing-and-serving, aarti-thhaali-handling wife-cum-DIL, even if she is a brilliant student and have a prospect of a great career ahead !!!
May be, this story is heading for that cliched EK-branded "intentionally becoming sacrificial lamb" drama, in which Poonam would be forced by the creatives to accept a psychopath in order to release an utterly confused & coward person from a promise; in the process compelling PT & Badi Granny look like two helpless jokers who are unable to control their next generation even after having such supreme authority over a whole district !!! And then may be those ghisapita drama of abusive marriage, Poonam/Lakhan falling for each other in the mid-way, FB showing Lakhan did not burn alive that innocent family but somebody else did, Poonam sudhaarofy Lakhan and blah blah blah ... I know it's a wishful thinking, but hope that the creatives would spare us from such illogical, absurd and immoral plots.
@VIMAL.M, agree regarding that EK's famous two-sisters-one-guy concept. Here they have two-brothers-one-girl. The differences are (as of now) that both the guys are disgusting and none of them respect or love the girl.
P.S. The new promo highlights Lakhan's over-used & now-irritating dhamkis and Priyom abandoning Poonam. As usual, I could not understand Poonam's confused reaction.
