Personally, Lakhan marrying Poonam by any means is simply indigestible, disgusting and immoral after portraying him the way the creatives have done recently. The only thing this character deserves is extreme punishments for his psychotic deeds; not a girl & a 180 degrees turn of characteristic traits.

You said spot on! 😃

I don't think he loved her. Poonam to him was a possession, a toy he had complete power to manipulate and release his anger on, now that she's gone he has a void and doesn't know how and to whom he's releasing this anger.

Love is not supposed to be easy but it definitely doesn't contain fear.

I don't get it either. When was this promo aired?

I want to see Maya grow out of her relationship, she deserves a completely new partner.

U think it would be possible? She has two kids now and whenever it comes to a lady which have kids it's always hard for a woman to take such decisions and specially to the woman who belongs to such atmosphere. I don't think Mithilesh will ever let her do that.

So this new spoiler (if true) explains why Poonam's expression was so stern while she was hugging Priyom in the promo. Creatives have already made fun of marriage once and they are in the process of doing the same again. Simply abominable !!! In case they have wanted to portray Poonam hitching up with Lakhan only from the very beginning, then what was the need for portraying his character as that of a nonredeemable psychopath's !!!! Personally, I didn't start with this series to watch this type of cliched and downright immoral craps, instead had mistakenly expected something logical, truly intelligent & indigenous for a change !!

Which promo or spoiler is everyone talking about? I'm the only one that hasn't read the spoiler and seen the promo!

Hey, I'm Chandrima 😃 ...

For me, Guddi is THE dark-horse of this series. On many-a-occasions she behaves like an exact replica of her father. But going by the absurd and illogical tracks being introduced by the creatives one after another, I am loosing hope of anything out-of-the-box from these people.

Lakhan/Poonam marriage is a strict no-no for me (since, for me personally absolutely nothing can, by any whatsoever mean, redeem this character) and PT's death as well. Even though PT is being forced to act like an idiot w.r.t. matters related to Bindiya, but he is one of the most well-sketched and sane characters of this series. And above all this character is being brilliantly portrayed on each and every occasion.

Dolte to bhai ke naam pe ek kaala dhabba hai ...

Hey Chand (can I call you that?)! 😃

She truly is! I hope she turns out to be the heir of the show. I hope this show remains fast tracked.

I agree with Lakhan and Poonam's no no marriage. I don't care if it's fictional, I don't stand by those kind of relationships at all. Lakhan doesn't love Poonam and more important he doesn't respect her.

@bold: so true, I've never seen such a brother. He's like Lakhan's puppy.

I do enjoy love-stories as well, but with depth and logic. But after experiencing the crap which is normally being portrayed in the name of "love-story" on Indian TV for a few times, I have lost all hope whatsoever. Now-a-days, my expectation is absolutely zero w.r.t. "love-story". Priyom/Poonam's (im)probable love-story HAD got the potential, but seems now it has literally gone down the drains. And anyways, Lakhan (in disguise) is going to kidnap Poonam from the mehendi ceremony, then with all probability would threaten & bully her to extract her consent for marriage. So it's simply a premature death of any whatsoever love-story !!!! And to be frank, I don't care now.

Regarding Poonam's characterization, she is ever-silent, ever-confused, dukhiyaari, all-enduring, all-sacrificing ablaa naari from the very beginning and now I have lost any hope regarding her revival. She would never stand-up for her own dignity. She can just do some big talks in front of her ever-regressive mother or Priyom and that's all.

Regarding Priyom/Poonam chemistry, I must admit that today these two were good at it. Seems the creatives have actually started to portray their apparent soul-to-soul connection, but apparently it's too late.

P.S. Definitely, you can call me that 😃. Would you mind if I ask you the meaning of your name ? It's quite an uncommon one.

I don't see why not. It's only if CVs think out of the box. I actually wouldn't mind if Maya raised both kids alone.

@purple - that's the challenge, what does she want and how far will she go to get what she wants and deserves.

I don't know how people have managed to put aside how Mithilesh slept with Bindiya. Who tolerates that?

Hershey, you have actually raised a few identical points, which I had raised in my earlier posts - Maya leaving Mithilesh to have a better life with or without a partner, Guddi being declared as the heir to the throne, Poonam having a bright career of her own. But the creatives would never execute these radical & out-of-the-box ideas, as those would definitely back-fire in the form of TRP.

What happened in today's episode?

I just don't it to drag. I don't enjoy stories in general that drag. It's exhausting to analyze or even discuss stories that do that. I think they're going to have Lakhan and Poonam married or at least "fake marriage" for the Prinam fans and drag the story that way.

You should try watching Piya Rangrezz, I think you might enjoy that show.

Okay, the promo shows Poonam is happy getting married to Priyom. They show a chit with "Poonam weds Priyom" written on it. Poonam & Priyom hug and Poonam's expression transforms into a stern one while she hugs Priyom. Then comes "Salman Khan" (you know what I mean) Lakhan with fire raging on the background which is burning the chit as well and his OTT & irritating dhamkis - "hum yeh shaadi hone nehin denge ... Begusarai ko jalna hoga and blah blah blah"... Priyom leaves Poonam, she tries and fails to stop him, Lakhan is shown standing behind her and at last the latest montage.

Today it was mainly interactions between Poonam & Priyom, in which she is extremely angry with him for his betrayal. In the night, they accidentally cut their hands at the same instant but on the opposite sides of the closed door of Poonam's room. Priyom is unable to understand why she is behaving like a GF. In the morning they have a chitchat in which Poonam taunts him first by using the color of mehendi as an idiom mentioning that unlike girls guys are basically polygamous by nature; and then almost confesses her feelings. Priyom, in the mean while, tells her that he never leaves a hand after holding it. Najma arrives with Priya to interrupt their conversation and Priyom leaves her room angrily when Poonam again accuses him of cheating. Priya tells Poonam that Priyom is changing and he did not touch her yesterday. Priya promises that she would leave him for good and asks Poonam to understand Priyom. Poonam tries to call him, but Priyom ignores and leaves the house in extreme anger. In the middle, they have shown that Lakhan has kidnapped and is threatening the saree-wala & the jeweler, along with their respective families, so that they don't get involved in PP marriage.

"Piya Rangrez" 😲 ????!!!! Are you kidding me !!! If I can't tolerate Lakhan/Poonam over here, how would I be able to do the same for Sher/Shraddha over there !!! I tried a few episodes in the beginning. Simply not my cup of tea !!! But I must admit that Narayani Shashtri is doing a fantastic job as Bhanwari Devi.

Can't believe that this is my 7th post of the day 😲 😲 😲 😲 !!!! I must stop now 😆 😆 😆 ...
