I think shes a hindu....but with a punjabi background...like me....im hindu but my mom was born in jalunder (however u spell it) and my dad's parents also have some punjabi (not sikh) but punjabi backround so im a hindu punjabi....

hey guys i would like to say something that her religion is hindu it doesn't make any connection with the background,ok maybe she's punjabi maybe gujtari,but u can't say that she's hindu we know that all the BMTD co-stars are hindu,but from where are diva n sharad 😕 😆 again the same question sorry 😆 😕

Hey..sorry to oppose anyone, but Malhotras are hindu-punjabis...tonnes from delhi and other northern places. but malhotras are certainly punjabi's although not sikh.

one clarification please... punjabi refers to originating from punjab (the state). not religion. there are ample hindu-punjabis (i'm an H-P from Uttar Pradesh) in all parts of india. (in addition to sikhs, and in pakistan, there you'll find muslim punjabi families as well). i also know of plenty hindu-punjabi families from Calcutta...its a bustling city so hardly surprising.
