sharad is from kolkatta, and he says he's bengali and knows how to speak it as well
he says that he also knows how to speak punjabi and i read in an article that he said something like "Being a punjabi" and it had to do with food.and he doesn't have to be sikh..he can just be a hindu/punjabi/bengali guy form kolkatta 😉

Dviynka is not punjabi!in an aaj tak interview she was rehearsing her lines and between that she was talking to soemone behind the camera and she was speaking hindi but it was like mp language like lalu yadev speaks... 😆 so shes not punjabi!!they are both from differnt backgrouds..
sharad has also said in an interview that divyanka helped him with his benearssi language...

hey yah, i remember divyanka in that episode of aaj tak.. i thought she was speaking in a dialect of brij bhaasha or something very similar to what we hear in U.P. (i dont know much about m.p.) also she has said that her normal hindi dialect was similar to vidya's dialect which is probably one of the reasons she got the role (her language only got spoiled after moving to bombay. :)) but she sounded HELLA CUTE speaking in that Aaj Tak!! Loved it!!

and yah..Sharad's an HP from Cal fer sure. (Hindu-Punjabi munda!) Mister-I-love-mom's-raajma-and-dancing. It's in the jeans..sorry..genes. 😊

Hey Gia..I'm a punjabi also and know hella lot of punjabi Malhotras...in fact, i dont know any non-punjabi malhotras. my malhotra friends insists that its a hard core punju name (hindu-punjabi) but then they could just be blowing hot air...as we punjabis do so well!!😉 😆

Well.. most sweet and innocent people are from UP. My whole family is from there too. Glad to know that vidya is from there too.

But I wish she was a vegetarian too. 😕

I dont know any malhotra punjabi's, i live in bc in vancouver and here there is soooo many punjabi's but i guess malhotras just dont like canada lol.... jkjk but thats so wierd sharad is pun ...
