"Toh phir kya baat hai, Divya?"
Divya continued to look him, guilt overriding her mind. Why was she leaving? She knew she couldn't run away from him, run away from her feelings... she had to stop herself.
He shook his head slightly, his eyes full of bitterness, and a sense of pleading. "Don't go."

"Sagar...?"
"Hmmm?"
"Kya kar rahe ho?"
"I'm holding your hand... why, am I not allowed to?" He laughed, dismissing her question as a joke.
But Sagar wasn't just holding Divya's hand. Ever since Divya decided not to leave and to sit on the bench next to him, her hand wasn't left alone... it remained in his, the grip tighter than usual, as if he wasn't going to let her go. Neither of them talked, but there was enough tension in the atmosphere for Divya to be able to say anything.
"Aren't you..."
"No."
Sagar began to slowly push his hand away very slightly from Divya's, but by no means was he letting her go; he instead started to brush his fingers against her own.
Divya gasped; an electric current jolted through her, and her shoulders stiffened.
Sagar continued the same motion, but now placed his fingers in between hers...
"Sagar --"
He interlocked them slowly, causing Divya's body to turn completely rigid, lost in what he was doing.
"What --"
Their fingers were fully entwined now, his hands soft but the grip tight, and unbreakable.
Sagar turned to her finally, his gaze piercing Divya's eyes. Her body still remained immobile, eyes widening, unable to understand what was happening to her.
"Divya", he whispered, and that was all he needed to say, for Divya's body became numb as she exhaled finally and allowed herself to fall into Sagar's arms.
I actually just penned this down a few days ago and was contemplating on whether or not I should post it. I won't be updating anymore for a long time, so I thought I'll leave this as it is for the timebeing... I'm not quite sure exactly if what I wrote even made any sense, but there you go :) Thanks again for all the lovely comments!
