I realised I couldn't just write it in one part. I had to lead up to the day/night. This is especially for Nishi and Neha, my two wonderful butter friends (i.e. mujhe bahut maska marte hai when it comes to my FF 😛).
I pray to God...there will be maximum 3 parts only. I have this horrible habit of stretching my writing.
Sagar, Chinu,Shalu,Bharat and Sameer are in SVs room, sitting on the bed playing antakshari.
Sagar: (in his kiddish tone) eh saali....K se gaa...K!!
Shalu: (taps her chin with her finger and looks up in mid-air) yeh fair nahin hai chotte thakhur. Main akeli kaise think kar sakti hu. Main sirf ek hi girl hu....aap chaar boys ho.
Sagar: (opens his mouth wide and claps his hands)...matlab tum hargayi. Tum loser ho.... (rocks back and forth in joy)
Shalu: (eyes wide open) nahin nahin...ek minute, mujhe thinking karne do. (murmers) k....k...k...
Chinu smiles at his wifes cuteness and then suddenly a familiar voice comes from the rooms door...
Vidya: Khaana lag gaya hai (looking at Sagar purposefully)
Shalu quickly turns around while the four look up ahead. Sagar gives a faint smile but then acts like a snob.
Shalu: (itches her hair) khaana lag gaya hai?? Yeh gaana hai chinuji??
Chinu frowns in confusion.
Sagar: Stoooooopid!!! (hits Shalu on the head) Woh keh rahi hai ke khana lag gaya hai. (he makes an eating impression with his hands...Vidya smiles proudly at her husbands antics)
Vidya walks in.
Sagar: (squints his eyes and gives her evils) Tum yaha kya karahi ho??? (points his fingers towards the door and back) Out... (vidya doesn't respond and puts her head down)
Shalu: (suddenly her eyes lit up, she pulls Vidya down so she sits on the bed next to her) Vidya bahut acha gaati hai. (grins stupidly) usse zaroor pata hoga.
Sagar: (pouts angrily) agar yeh yaha rahegi.... (gets up from the bed) toh main yaha se chala jaooga....please.
Vidya shakes her head slightly and smiles at her husbands overracting.
Chinu: Dada zidd mat kijiye. Bhabhi ko gaane dijye na..
Bharat: (pleads) Please Mr.Ocean. Mami ko vaise bhi gaana nahin aayega....aur hum jeet jayege (winks obviously at Vidya)
Sagar turns his head quickly at Vidya and gives her evils again. He sits down like a kid. They all smile at him.
Shalu: Vidya...humein K se gaana shuru karna hai.
Vidya puts her knees up to her face...she starts thinking of a song.
Sagar: (claps his hands) Nahin aane wala....tum dono loser ho. (He high fives with sameer who is squeezed between Sagar and Bharat)
Vidya: (gives a smile to the right) Kaante nahin katte...
Sagar changes his expression at the sound of her singing...his mouth is slightly open.
Vidya: (continues singing and looks at Sagar teasingly ) yeh din...yeh raat. (Sagar tries to stop his smile but his eyes give his pleasure away) kehni thi tumse jo dil ki baat, kaante nahin katte yeh din yeh raat (her eyes dont move away from his) kehni thi tumse jo dil ki baat...loh aaj mein kehti hu.....(Vidya sighs a tad)
Long pause. Sagar waits for the last three words eagerly, he gulps ever so lightly. Shalu looks at Vidya shockingly. Chinu,Bharat and Sameer are grinning innocently. Vidya just gives Sagar a most thirsty look, her eyes slightly moist. He's still waiting...their eyes are locked with each other.
Vidya: (brings on a cheeky smile and says) khana lag gaya hai...
Sagar: (flabbergasted and unintentionally speaks in his normal voice) yeh...yeh nahin hai. (everyone looks at him weirdly, he flutters his eyelids and switches back to his kid voice) Matlab....usne galat gaye....(makes rolling actions with his finger) ending sahin nahin tha.
Shalu: (nods her head quickly) Haa Vidya...ending mein Sridevi... (giggles shyly with her finger nail between her teeth) kuch aur bhi kehti hai Anil kapoor se.
Sagar: (rapidly agrees with his head) Haa...tumhe woh gaana hoga varna...varna tum har jaogi.
He gives Vidya a pleading look...as if telling her to say those three words.
Vidya: (turns to shalu) Shalu...tumhi gaana pura kardo. (she turns to Sagar and smiles)
Shalu: (giggles again) Heehee...main nahin gaa sakti vidya. Mujhe sharam aati hai (she looks at Chinu blushingly). Main yeh gaana....chinuji ko akele mein kal gaugi.
Vidya: (frowns and smiles) kal kyon?
Shalu: Kal valentines hai na vidya....kal sab pyar karne wale ek saath time saath mein guzarta hai aur ek dusre ko love ki baatein karti hai. Kyon chinuju?? (Chinu makes an expression telling her to shut up but he smiles anyway).
Vidya: Acha?? (Looks at Sagar)
Shalu: Haa vidya. Bahut hi bootiful din hota hai. Jis insaan se aap most pyar karte ho...usse kal ke din batana hi hoga ke tum unse kitna pyar karti ho.
Vidya: (keeps on looking at Sagar who is still miffed about Vidya not singing the last 3 words) Aur agar nahin bataya toh? (in a very teasy voice)
Sagar: (angrily in a kiddish voice) toh woh tumse kabhi baat nahin karega.
Everyone is confused at his comment. Sagar gives Vidya a harsh look before..
Sagar: (strictly) Mujhe bhook lagi hai. (He gets up and walks past Vidya)
Everyone walks out....Vidya bites her bottom lip, smiles and shakes her head.
