Part Four
Recap: Vidya tells shalu to make a call home to tell her mom that they will be late because of this function they have to attend, when actually vidya is planning to go see a movie…
Shalu was still looks scared and worried because she didn't want to lie and than face the consequences of being caught…
Vidya: arey shalu, itna soch mat dekh hum koi bura kaam to kar nahi rahey. Sirf aik movie hi to dekhnay ja rahey hain
Shalu: agar yeh bura kaam nahi hai to hum humari mom's ki permission lay kay kyoun nahi ja saktay
Vidya: array nahi shalu. tum aisa sochna bhi mat. Tum to janti ho kay sirf ghar mein hi movie dekhnay kay liye mujh bechari ko kitna kuch sun na parta hai. Aur waisay bhi maa mujhey jane nahi dey gi
Shalu looks like as if she is falling in to what vidya's trap.
Vidya: pleeeeeeease shalu for me
Shalu: okay theek hai lekin agar unho nay pucha kay hume function attend karney ki kya zarrorat hai to mein kya kahoon gi
Vidya thinks to herself for few seconds and than says "tu unhe kehna kay it is very necessary and if we don't attend it will reflect our grade badly
Shalu: vidya tum bhi naa, what if they figure it out
Vidya: no they wont. neither of them have been in college so they dont know what the deal is okay. You just go
Shalu starts walking towards the phone booth she looks back at Vidya who is still standing there and encouraging her to walk quickly. Shalu looks ahead and than looks back again but keeps walking and she bumps in to someone. She looks up front to see who it is, its Chinu. They both look at each other as if the time has stopped for the two. Vidya who is looking from far away thinks what is going on. Shalu and chinu both snap out of it after a while.
Shalu: Sorry, woh mein………..
Chinu: its okay don't worry about it…. r u new at college I have never seen you here before
Shalu: jee, haan woh yeh hamara pehla saal hai
Chinu: oh… welcome to our college I am chinu
Shalu: I am shalu
Chinu puts his hand in front of her indicating he wants to shake her hand. Shalu looks at his hand is about to shake it when Vidya walks up to them and shalu puts her hand back. Chinu looks at vidya and recognizes her and remembers sagar's words.
Vidya looks at Shalu and says kya ho raha hai yahan
Shalu: arrey Vidya, in say milo yeh hain Chinu
Vidya: CHINU….. what kind of a name is that? is that like a male version of chini. She laughs to herself and says get it?…
Shalu and Chinu both look at each other and than look at vidya who is laughing. Vidya who realizes that no one is laughing besides her she stops laughing and says "whatever I thought it was funny"
Chinu looks at shalu and says okay shalu jee mein chalta hoon……. See you around
Saying that chinu leaves and Vidya moves to where chinu was standing. She looks at chinu who was walking away and than looks at shalu who was looking at chinu walking away. She thinks to herself and than says to shalu " Shalu jee" and "see you around" what was that about?
Shalu: tu be na… he was just being nice, and what was the need to make fun of his name
Vidya: oye hoy….. mujh say kisi nay kaha tha kay itna gusa achaa nahi hota my darling( says in a teasing voice)
Shalu: mein gussa kahan…… (thinks to herself there is no point in arguing with Vidya), tujhe ab phone call bool gayi kya.
Vidya: arrey haan, tu jaldi ja
Shalu gets in to the phone booth and dials the number and Vidya's mom picks up the phone. Shalu talks to her and convinces her and Vidya's mom agrees and tells them to be careful and don't take long. Shalu hangs up and comes out and says to vidya that it is done and her mom said they should not take too long. Vidya says "No worries, we will get home on time and nobody will suspect a thing"
The next scene is at the theaters
Vidya and shalu have arrived at the theaters; Shalu still looks as if she is feeling guilty for lying and coming there. Vidya tells shlau to wait there while she goes and buys tickets. As Vidya goes Sagar walks in with Chinu and Rohit.
Vidya has bought the tickets and is walking as sagar is walking from the other side. So basically they are walking towards each other. Vidya is busy looking at the tickets and sagar is busy talking to Rohit. Sagar and Vidya pass each other very closely yet they don't notice it.
Vidya goes up to Shalu and says ticket mil gayi chal. They both walk in to go see the movie they wanted to see. Sagar on the other hand is reading show schedule and reads the time for the movie he wanted to see. He turns around and hits Rohit on the head and says "Idiot hum adha ghanta jaldi ah gay hain"
Rohit: arey yaar mujhey to yehi time btaya gya tha, hemesha theek time hi to hota hai par aaj pata nahi kyon……….
Sagar: aaj is liye kyoun kay tu pagal hai
Rohit: dekh yaar there is always a reason for why something happens. And I am sure there is a good reason for why we are here
Sagar: No, I don't believe in your stupid philosophy
As sagar says that his eyes dwell upon the door and he sees surili walking in. Sagar quickly hides behind Rohit and says to himself out loud "Yeh yahan kya kar rahi hai"
This part ends on Sagar's shocked face.
